@goodfoodgal I’m very pissed off with @Optus If my personal data also includes my profession at the time of commencing my service with them, then it exposes me to a greater risk than the majority of the customers. 😡

  • Writeobsessed Cheryl Cooper 🇦🇺😷 (@Writeobsessed) reported

@LorrainePenn044 @Optus It’s just not good enough that they expect so much from us and offer so little in return. I do believe there has been an issue with their payment system and yet they are only concerned with hassling me with threatening fees. Disgraceful.

  • someoIdbulIshit t̶i̶m̶ (@someoIdbulIshit) reported

got a horrible feeling I might’ve used an Optus SIM card for one of my many accounts…

  • jbmandm Jacqui Bonner (@jbmandm) reported

@noshamecreative Things I wish for: 1) Optus didn't have such crap security so I don't have to check EVERYTHING forever (just caught 2 fraudulent trans on one account!) 2) the ability to sleep 3) my old dawgs eyes to get better

  • redruby17 Dr Jos 🇦🇺🇫🇷🇱🇧💉💉💉💉 (@redruby17) reported

@ClareONeilMP I need your help to put pressure on Optus to refund the cost of issuing new identification documentation such as passports. I called DFAT today and it will cost $191 and a wait of about 12 weeks for a new passport. It’s unacceptable for the customer to take on that burden

  • baradhili PICSI.co (@baradhili) reported

@Optus top of the list when managing an incident is messaging and communications to impacted users @OAICgov - as an optus customer, I've received nothing - and the "message us" link on their website is turned off..

  • R4M845 R4M845 (@R4M845) reported

@CKellyUAP I left OPTUS years ago due to their INDIAN "tech support" centres and unreliables services...sure, they have cheap deals but services are ******. Aussiebroadband FTW

  • captainfez Yeah nah (@captainfez) reported

This also following from the run-around from Optus in the attempt to establish whether my ex-customer status was any bulwark against having my personal info leaked. Their response? Either "we can't find your info" or "use the Optus app!" which helps approx. zero percent.

  • AkiretaHK Sean Knight (@AkiretaHK) reported

@sniff86793391 Mmm but Telstra actually has infrastructure doesn't it, what is Optus for other than wasting money? Telstra is ******* awful ofc. But yeah, a Telco being atrocious and irresponsible, colour me shocked!

Optus offering free Equifax subscription to all customers. Whether you care about the hack or not sign up. This is a valuable service to have.
