@SquizzSTK God, she talks ****. How the hell can the government ensure there won’t be a cyber attack and data breach on a private company in the future? The Deputy PM spoke about it. It’s the responsibility of Optus to comfort it’s customers. FFS

  • elee_bella Ella Lee (@elee_bella) reported

@Asher_Wolf And yet Optus appear very much to be playing the victim. I’m so glad I got so pissed off about their ****** service a year or so ago and jumped ship.

  • SpallieraL Looch (@SpallieraL) reported

@Optus @Sidonie89 Point people are making is Optus should be on the front foot and emailing every customer to say if they were affected also to let them know what happened not read about it on a social media app

  • hchan2070 Heidi Chan (@hchan2070) reported

@AusGovSlave I don’t think so. Test networks don’t have identifiable data on them. My father has just had 6 unauthorised transactions from Canada and has had to cancel his card. Thanks for that @Optus.

  • degtrman dave mickel-quadruple vaxxed baby. (@degtrman) reported

@recneps51 @Optus @NSW_FairTrading Telstra is similar. It is an added cost for them to notify you especially if its a letter. Reduce costs and make the customer do the work, less jobs ensue. Cashless society because big business already has your cash in perpetuity.

@DrKate_Miller @Optus Deathly silence at my end. Not sure if that's good or bad. Oh, wait - they'll probably send it to my Optus email that I haven't used since 1990... 🙄

  • rob25112 rob2511 (@rob25112) reported

@redruby17 @Optus I can't see that the Minister @MRowlandMP has made any comment. Optus said to contact them if I think I've been hacked.. How ******** would I know if I've been hacked.

  • TheChopperLady The Chopper Lady (@TheChopperLady) reported

@nineislands I use Moose Mobile. All free calls and texts in Australia and around $16 a month including mobile data. They use the Optus network and are based here in Brisbane so customer service is great. Was previously with Telstra. Hair pulling stuff.

  • Allhandzon Dec (@Allhandzon) reported

@sassycarrie @Optus The inflexibility of phone carriers has always got me. I remember them not saying my account was paid up and charging me for months after and they said they’d forgot, but the second you miss a payment it’s ‘your service will be suspended’

@sundaybliss1 @RossFloate 3/..for any odd messages etc, your bank can place a temporary freeze on your money, contact IDcare for support, watch for suspicious activity on your accounts, emails, messages. Apart from that, run as many red lights as you can and blame Optus.
