@KafkaVoltaire @Optus This is rendering my iPhone and iPad almost unusable. Seems @Optus ‘Internet Services Engineering’ has not maintained server authentication validity for their servers *.optusnet.com.au. Looks like an #incompetent #fail. How long before you get your sh!t together Optus?

@PaulWilliams_85 @sebth @paramountplus Not sure exactly how it works but the major Asian leagues are already on Optus or Sports Flick. FA holds the relevant NT rights plus ACL as part of the same package I believe. So this could have zero relevance for us down here. But they’re making big moves OS which is good!

@Optus i’ve sent heaps of DMs, called, used the app messenger takes 30 mins to tell me they can’t help with 5g. i just want the tower here fixed, but given other peoples’ issues, think maybe there’s some other rubbish going. i doubt you can give me anything outside a scripted line.

When I was an @Optus customer I’d have NBN outages for hours to days that I’d have to chase up. Now with @Aussie_BB, NBN dropped out for 5 minutes and I received an sms, email and app notification. The customer service is so much better. Best decision I’ve made.

@Optus there’s that standard line... of course you’ll be happy to credit for the downtime. you’re required to by law! i’ve been getting credited. it doesn’t change the fact that the service hasn’t worked since 23/3. doesn’t even drop back to 4g.

Some research reveals that if you turn off SSL in settings/accounts/mail/optus account via advanced settings problem goes away

@optus are so inept at supplying businesses. #TIOAUS have tried to help, but @optus are refusing to return my calls, fix my issues and supply the services I require to run my small business @AAAAuto655 With covid lock downs pending, I need the phone service to operate.

@SydneyShaz @PerthDenizen @Optus Yes this issue has persisted for over a year and eventually I disconnected my Optus email account and moved to another platform. Decided to re-commence use of Optus email address but spam remains out of control.
