@myGovau I deleted that MyGov and started again. So I now have this version, but the support person that time round informed me that it was not a problem with my account it is a prob with Optus and MyGov messages, seems to affect only some Optus/MyGov messages. So my daughter is fine.

@fueledbyamy @Optus Hey yeah. I just checked mine it’s going up $4. I don’t even get phone service inside my apartment. Great that they’re giving me an extra 20g of data but I don’t use what I already have. I can’t even drop down my plan

  • SeanAJohnson Sean Johnson (@SeanAJohnson) reported

@Moose1870 Optus is ****. The playing surface is dangerous. Terrible

  • myronmy9 Myron My (@myronmy9) reported

So it is perfectly legal for #Optus to change their prices provided they give 30 days notice & allow me to cancel the plan if I choose. Still doesn't make any of this a good look for customer relations. Seems like Optus only really cares about making MORE money of its customers.

@Optus have really gone to the dogs! Paying for a sevice they cant provide and now they want to increase their monthly charges!! Fix your coverage, FFS!!

  • MichaelaNewell_ Michaela Newell 🇵🇸 🇺🇦 (@MichaelaNewell_) reported

@ASheridanOptus @GladysB been on phone trying to sort out unlocking a 2017 Optus phone since 10am. Between customer service dead ends and then incorrect advice, it’s been singularly unimpressive. 4pm and the saga continues. Got any staff there that know what they’re doing? #Optus

@myronmy9 @Tiger2047 @Optus Look if you don't burn through a lot of data, even the 12 month prepaid plans from Optus/Telstra, or their resellers like Boost/Coles/etc aren't bad - and hey, you've prepaid and locked in that deal for 12 months :-)

  • peterhull55 peteatkorogoro (@peterhull55) reported

@oldlillipilli @FlickReynolds @Optus We are living in a duopoly . Telstra put mine up by $10 recently to pay for “extra service” “shifting me to a new plan” the benefit was 5G which I can’t receive on my phone and is not in my area. 🤬

  • 3321Hayden Hayden 3321 (@3321Hayden) reported

@Optus My internet has been disconnecting on and off for the last 2 weeks all of a sudden. It always saids there is reduced network status. It was down all of the morning today and is down again tonight any reason?

  • vicrollison Dr Queen Victoria 💧🐀 (@vicrollison) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Tiger2047 @SulloAU @Optus The 'contract' says they can make changes with at least 30 days notice - and that you can cancel at anytime - that's what you agreed to. You can't find yourself locked into paying $49 one month and $89 the next - you can leave at any time
