@nigelcooperTV @Optus @Stanleysmum1 According to online support they will not be compensating customers, all we get is an insincere apology for the "inconvenience" this has caused. The person I spoke with couldn't even be bother to paste store details into the scripted response I got

@sassycarrie @Optus You can log it online. You then get to skip the low level customer service agent (no offence CSAs) and deal with someone motivated to resolve your complaint.

Other than signing up for a Class action. I have no longer got any reason to remain a Optus customer.

Just a suggestion @Optus, if you are going to offer third party monitoring support on your website for victims of this, best tell your customer service reps what that actually entails because no-one seems to know. I hope that's not just because it's a bunch of weasel-words.

@Telstra @MCG Telstra have just kicked Optus when they are down with a ‘Telstra Secure’ advert between footy break.

@Scamwatch_gov Having been affected by the Optus fiasco how can I stop credit applications? The useless credit savvy says I can block my account. I never gave them permission in the first place! I want to be notified of applications. Please advise

@virgotweet Fat lot of good changing your password is when providers have breaches like this. Customer privacy needs greater protection and assurance @Optus

So I haven’t been with #Optus for over 6 months but apparently they kept all my data, address and IDs and it got all got leaked. Why wasn’t it deleted when I left as a customer???

@Optus thanks for the #databreach. Now switched to @VodafoneAU. Don't treat your clients' data with such lack of care. You're not the victim of a scammer. We are. #DataSecurity
