@domknight @Optus Dom, i haven’t read the replies so this may already have been said: cryptographic key signatures solves the problem you’ve described.

  • nomesapp2 Napps (@nomesapp2) reported

@VictorDominello Could you please confirm that a replacement licence will only issue a new card number and not a new licence number? The licence number was breached. We seek clear information and instruction, today. Optus stated Monday, it would provide more info in 'coming days'. Still nothing.

So the blowtorch is still on Optus for stuffing up so many lives by loose data security, in no small part attributable to the incompetence of the idiot ******* whilst he was Minister- no comment on what Telstra is doing to assure us same won’t happen to them & their customers ?

  • Lee_Tennant Dame Holly Armchair Everything/엘티 (@Lee_Tennant) reported

Somebody help me here What Optus did is wildly illegal, right? How are there no legal consequences for this treatment of private data?

  • MarkAnt90398186 Mark Anthony (@MarkAnt90398186) reported

@dnforca I also got the same one. Problem is, I’m not even with Optus

  • Maws_Mate Maws (Mate!!!) (@Maws_Mate) reported

@blue01dragonfly at the moment…it’s taking 5+ months for Passports to be issued most of the States have said they’ll re-issue licences (with new licence numbers) for free ie: they’ll send the bill to Optus

  • BeaumontCarolyn Carolyn Beaumont (@BeaumontCarolyn) reported

@Optus Good one, Optus. You let hackers get into our phone accounts. Then you make tech support unavailable 24 hours. I cannot access my work roster for today. Digital messenger help is not suitable. I need human tech support now at 6am, not when tech support starts work at 9am.

  • SalisburyStreet The Accountant (@SalisburyStreet) reported

@smudge_green @Optus They should have to pay each affected customer a few hundred dollars to compensate for the inconvenience.

  • RegorTellah Roger Hallett (@RegorTellah) reported

@Optus I have been an Optus customer since the first digital service started. I need to know exactly what personal information of mine you are holding. Everything that could be used by others to create a history profile. How are you going to do that? And when?
