    @abcnews Just watching the abc this morning - re monitoring service offered, Optus has given me a code to access twice and it has failed both times, now I’m waiting on their complaints system for that as well as the day breach and still no monitoring!

    @domknight @Optus Dom, i haven’t read the replies so this may already have been said: cryptographic key signatures solves the problem you’ve described.

    @manypossai @Optus Was the person that Optus shared our personal details with an Optus customer? If they slowed him down the download of our IDs would have taken him a week! Maybe download of customer details from their servers is a free download?

    @domknight @Optus Optus didn’t need to store them in a format that was hackable. For example @Haventec has an off-the-shelf solution they could have used to protect sensitive data. The Govt should not let them off the hook because they didn’t prioritise expenditure on critical Infrastructre

    @PeterWMurphy1 @abcnews Regardless of prior relationship with Optus, wtf was he thinking. Also seems to be an excessive amount of data being put at risk by these companies, Medicare, passport and Drivers license!
