@RuddTash @Optus It depends on your state requirements. For NSW, checks require both license number and card number to match. On Service NSW site, you can find a FAQ. You can't get a new license number normally unless there's proof of fraud.

@esscee13 @MadsMelbourne @Optus Somehow I don’t believe Optus was hacked they’re trying to use it as a reason to go digital. Only problem is how was Optus hacked if not digitally? So in that case it proves going digital is NOT safe.

@vicki_woods_au Having worked at Optus Enterprise for 3 years (left 12 months ago) I can tell you KBR (as she is known) will be hurting from this data breach. She is tough but. Never count her out. Massive job ahead for her and Optus to rebuild trust with the Australian consumer.

@trevorlong @ServiceNSW As a former @Optus customer affected by the cyber attack and unable to call or live chat due to period elapsed since I was a customer, don't bother going into an Optus store in QLD, they didn't want to talk to me and wouldn't even let me in the store. #Appauling
