@lenoretaylor I'm an Optus customer exasperated by chat bots and poor communication BEFORE the data breach. And actually, ongoing. Today, have got 2 texts. 1: tells me my account is going to be debited shortly for this month's bill. 2: my payment's late & I'll be cut off soon. Which is it?

  • brettjmb brettjmb (@brettjmb) reported

@Jeremy_Kirk just changed my mobile provider. never again @Optus

How many peeps that follow me are Voda customers? If so, how would you rate their mobile service? Thinking of swapping to them because of the Optus debacle.

@9NewsAUS Optus will never be able to redeem themselves.

Any and all efforts to investigate the Optus leak should be redirected to how my internet never actually drops out when my ISP has an outage during business hours. Break it harder scumbags

  • throau Jethro Rose (@throau) reported

@Veeteejay1 @danilic Given even dealing with Optus accounts over billing inquiries is so freaking difficult as a business customer I’m not surprised

  • clarkjourno Philippa Clark (@clarkjourno) reported

I haven’t seen it reported anywhere, but do we know whether the Optus hack also affects other providers that use the Optus network (like Amaysim)?

  • charlietech Charlie (@charlietech) reported

@Tegan_Writes I thought it was good of auspost to do this btw. i know that 1) Auspost use the Optus network 2) my data is not connected to Optus - but i also know many other customers would not know this.

  • bentsolutionsau B.Tolputt (@bentsolutionsau) reported

@jasonjordan Define "hacked". I'm a coder by trade and from what I understand of this situation, Optus is indeed culpable. However, the legal definition of hack is "unauthorised access of a system or network". What occurred was unauthorised access
