    @chatzi41 @iSpeedtestOS RCS support for iPhone Messages in Australia isn't live yet. Apple added it back in iOS 18, but it requires carrier activation from Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone. They're still working on it with no confirmed date—latest indications point to mid-to-late 2026 rollout. Contact your carrier for the latest.

    @eevblog If you turn on Data Roaming when in Vodafone, in areas where there is poor coverage, it will connect to an Optus tower to fill the gap. This only works for Vodafone and not Optus or Telstra.

    @billdogan Hey Bill, it's not good to hear you're experiencing different internet speeds on your devices. When it comes to reception, Optus is constantly upgrading our network to provide better coverage. However, multiple factors can affect this, such as your hardware capabilities, software update, the building materials used in your home, and other signal blocking objects in your area. I have also checked your address from our end, and it looks like we haven't had any reported mobile network issues in this area.     @pelli_69 @Optus @Telstra Maybe try Superloop. I was with Tesltra for 20+ years, and switched to Superloop. cheaper for higher speeds and I’ve had no issues with them for a the year since I switched.

    In 3 weeks, Freo play StK at Optus. During that time, I hope I can forget that the Blues had a red hot sniff on the road against the Dockers while the Saints stomped on their dead carcass in front of the Blues home crowd. One year ago today, 94-33. Never forget that one.

    It would now take full two days to send a message to Voyager 1 and receive a reply. Still better than Optus’ mobile network.
