  • just_brash Justin Brash 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇦🇺🍸📷🐱 (@just_brash) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    Optus has put out a statement addressing the government criticism of the company. As a customer I’m still waiting for any communication from the company at all. Hello @optus, when do you intend to contact customers? #optushack

  • earllequin Earllequin (@earllequin) reported

    @AnthonyLucas30 @Optus That’s a stop gap solution for just 12 months though. I think Optus should do the right thing here and compensate us for obtaining new passports and licenses. It’ll give us much better peace of mind to have ID docs with new numbers and dates.

  • SoLetUsBegin SoLetUsBegin (@SoLetUsBegin) reported

    Former #Optus customer who just found out my data has been leaked, have spent hours on phone to lock everything down. How can we go about directly inconveniencing Optus senior management and executive team, within the bounds of the law?

  • poisondogs yaz (@poisondogs) reported

    Ok so is Optus just telling everyone this or is this /specifically/ the **** I had stolen? Cause phone number and email aren’t coming up on haveibeenpwned

  • Writeobsessed Cheryl Cooper 🇦🇺😷 (@Writeobsessed) reported

    @LorrainePenn044 @Optus It’s just not good enough that they expect so much from us and offer so little in return. I do believe there has been an issue with their payment system and yet they are only concerned with hassling me with threatening fees. Disgraceful.

  • AkiretaHK Sean Knight (@AkiretaHK) reported

    @sniff86793391 Mmm but Telstra actually has infrastructure doesn't it, what is Optus for other than wasting money? Telstra is ******* awful ofc. But yeah, a Telco being atrocious and irresponsible, colour me shocked!

  • MacLachy Lachlan MacFie (@MacLachy) reported

    @samishah @Optus I left the major telcos some time ago, bought a phone upfront from Apple and used small high quality providers found via product review, eg C-Mobile, Moosemobile. Same network access as major providers but cheaper and superior organisations. Even Aldi not bad prepayed.

  • captainfez Yeah nah (@captainfez) reported

    This also following from the run-around from Optus in the attempt to establish whether my ex-customer status was any bulwark against having my personal info leaked. Their response? Either "we can't find your info" or "use the Optus app!" which helps approx. zero percent.

  • Matt_Ros Matthew Ross (@Matt_Ros) reported

    @baxters @StephenJonesMP Sadly im a optus customer

  • 1956OldDog 1956TheOldDog 🇺🇦 (@1956OldDog) reported

    @Optus You’ve got to be kidding. I’ll never ever trust you with my information. Certainly not after the way you are reacting to this massive data breach.
