@Optus and gets the 5G network. So in the same house, on the same floor, just 50 meters away, I can not get 5G? Looks like they have been lying to me the whole time and I will not take it. All these tech giants just milk out their consumers and run away when they are held

@_sara_jade_ I received a text from "Optus" noticing that my internet was down. Used my first name, gave links to click to tell me how to remedy this. Not happened before - deleted text, turned modem off and on - all good. This was the day news broke about the data theft.

@Optus After waiting on hold for 45 minutes I was put on hold again so the person could check how badly I was breached. They hung up on me. They called back ONE ring, then hung up. This ‘service’ is causing more people to register for the class action. Appalling.

After all this anxiety about the OPTUS data breach it turns out that I don’t even have an account. No login, no password. I tried to set one up with OPTUS last week but my pin codes kept expiring while I was recovering my energy in bed.

4. The cost to replace your driver licence is $29 and will be charged by Service NSW at the time of application – reimbursement advice will be issued by Optus to customers in the coming days.

@VictorDominello Can we be more specific about "coming days"? Optus have refused to provide any detailed information to date. Why do we suddenly expect them to start moving? Why not force them to commit to a certain date? People need certainty. Optus and Service NSW have treated people abhorently.

@AlanKohler Optus needs to pay everyone for the replacement of everything to every customer and the government agencies need to send new documents to every optus customer...it can't be upto individual customers to sort out this mess surely
