@Optus I'm moving overseas (Ireland) for 3 years. I want to keep my mobile number. While I'm away I need to receive text messages to authenticate bank/mygov/etc. What's the best way to do this? Instore/cust service call and chat on app all gave me different/conflicting advice.

@NBN_Australia @Optus Our SP has been equally hopeless at every step. This outage happened on Thursday morning, and still nobody has a clue how to get it fixed. Telcos are lightning quick to get paid, but when it comes to fixing a tech problem: dumb as dogsh!t. @Telstra incl. Get it together, you lot.

@domnixon1984 Internode changed from Optus to Vodaphone with their mobile service....so no network coverage where i went on the weekend.

It has been 9 days and I am STILL not receiving text messages and Optus STILL hasn't done anything to fix the issue.

@Bender240d COVID hangover, restrictions at Optus Stadium, poor early season form from some of the usally larger drawing clubs, fixturing changes that have put smaller drawing clubs in first and former blockbuster fixtures that normally take place early being moved or not fixtured.

@Internode i had to change my mobile provider to Vodaphone from Optus...first time i go away i end up in a 'no network connection' spot...i knew Vodaphone was crap...and when i ring Internode i talk to someone in Sth Africa ...not Adelaide like when and why i signed up.

Just tried to switch over my Optus internet to new house. After about 10 minutes the staff member’s computer at the other end still wouldn’t load so I hung up without success.Not a good look for a company I’m buying internet service from. #optus #NBN

@Optus come on, literally got transferred to 3 different people just to solve a problem. Every time, I had to wait for them to read the previous chats and even then I had to repeat my concerns again and again and they still wouldn’t focus on my main concern.
