  • redruby17 Dr Jos 🇦🇺🇫🇷🇱🇧💉💉💉💉 (@redruby17) reported

@katemarroquin @Optus Mine is direct debit so I had no choice but it hurt. Years from now business and communications degrees will have case studies about optus on how not to treat customers and deal with a crisis

  • katemarroquin Kate Marroquin (@katemarroquin) reported

@redruby17 @Optus They probably could have done something about the incessant reminders they send if you’re even slightly late paying your bill. At least this month. So rude.

  • greglow Greg Low (@greglow) reported

@AusRob @grugstan It's the difference between the Optus directors saying "bummer, might have to spend some of the shareholders' money" and "damn, I'm in serious personal trouble"

  • ZiptieZoe ZiptieZoe (@ZiptieZoe) reported

@footscarey @garden_naoms [What's the minimum we have to do no matter the hassle to the customer 🤔] Silly Optus...they know ppl are locked in contracts but they gonna be thrown when masses of customers leave in 12 mths, 24mths or parts thereof, planned NOW?

  • AnnKreger Ann Kreger (@AnnKreger) reported

@ClareONeilMP I am an Optus and Medicare customer who received a very plausible Telstra bill look alike scam email today. Companies must be required to their improve cybersecurity and have expensive consequences for not protecting customer data.

  • redruby17 Dr Jos 🇦🇺🇫🇷🇱🇧💉💉💉💉 (@redruby17) reported

@katvic8080 @Optus Yep- I'm going there next. I hate how I've been treated like an idiot

  • truthful_100 TruthfulOne (@truthful_100) reported

@BootsnAllPhotos Yeah i have had many since the Optus incident. A toll road debt was the latest

  • elee_bella Ella Lee (@elee_bella) reported

@redruby17 @Optus I’m with Belong and I get 100GB of data and unlimited calls and text in Aus and some OS minutes for $50 per month. The data rolls over, so I never run out.

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@ServiceNSW Optus should have NEVER been recoding card numbers….

  • softveda Pratik Khasnabis ☁ (@softveda) reported

@troyhunt @Optus It doesn't fix, but in my opinion making data breach a criminal offence will make sure security is taken seriously. I worked in projects where the stakeholder was only interested in easy customer experience to the detriment of security and lot of pressure applied to dev teams.
