@Optus your customer service is appalling. First you don’t tell us there are problems with email. Then you do stuff all to fix it, THEN you force the techs to say that they will investigate if I’m getting the best deal! My best deal would be to leave you behind!🤬

@lesstenny @Optus I used to have this problem all time over in Corinda. A Telstra technical told me years ago: it usually happens in an old building with old phone connections or phone (that needs to be replaced). or water getting into the phone junction box outside especially after it rain.

@niftycraftmc @GloWorld Optus also uses Band 28 for their 3G. Band 28 has advantage of traveling farther than other bands like 3 or 40 But has low penetrating power. So ISPs with Band 28 won't need more network masts like those with Band 40. Glo later added Band 3 for their 3G. Their 4G is using Band 28

@MalBraveheart So sorry that they used your Mum's memory. 😰We were scammed yesterday by someone saying 'Sorry we missed you' from 'AusPost'. We were waiting for a package from Optus on that day, so weren't as alert as usual. Husband had to cancel his card, so far OK but we feel shaken.

I repeat, @Optus is the worst company I have ever dealt with — another hour being shuttled between staff who give conflicting and outright incorrect (tell your bank not to pay when it’s a CC) or unhelpful suggestions (ask a friend to go into one of our stores for you!)

@gregzzzzzzzz @arielhelwani Lol Perth, has more in common with large country town than Melbourne. Govt paid UFC a tonne of money, that’s why it’s there. Your final statement is laughable, Optus will never be compared to the G.

@Optus Nope. I’m done. Been signed up for one day. I ring tech support to get help and the consultant tries to sell me on a current offer BEFORE even attempting to resolve my problem. That’s not the consultants fault. That’s a management directive to get those add on sales. Disgraceful

@SenPaterson If dipshits like you were serious about national security the Optus hack would never have been possible. You're taking crap advice from the US and destroying Australia's infosec in the process. Please stop ranting absolute crap about Chinese hardware. Learn about EU GDPR instead.
