    @ClareONeilMP Obviously Optus shares blame for terrible security, but we have to expect that breeches will continue to happen. It’s only when we massively limit what data companies are allowed to keep that we have any kind of safety. I like the saying “Data is the new asbestos”

    4. The cost to replace your driver licence is $29 and will be charged by Service NSW at the time of application – reimbursement advice will be issued by Optus to customers in the coming days.

    @ClareONeilMP Also love to know how far this data goes back! I have not been an Optus customer for ~15 years and the contact info they may have might be out of date, but other info might not be.

    @abcnews Yeh, sure. Where is the evidence to verify the data has been deleted? Data was stolen, can you truly trust a hacker/thief at their word? @Optus still have questions to answer, such as WHOSE DATA HAS BEEN STOLEN. WHAT SUPPORT ARE THEY PROVIDING I have had ZERO contact from optus

    @WideawakeBeets @Optus I still get monthly telstra bills. I've rang up 5 times to 'officially' cancel my account. Everytime they say 'yep thats done, you won't be hearing from us'. Then the next day I'll get an email saying Im overdue again.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 You serious! Walked into Optus store after I lost access to ph. Staff disrespectful,unhelpful & cried poor claiming they also had been hacked. Refused to help. Gobsmacked! You, Optus, left your front door unlocked…I didn’t! And now I’m paying for your error!!?
