Kids At Midnight (@kidsatmidnight) reported from Cape Paterson, Victoria@chrisopotamia I only know to check my emails about the next level in the Optus cyber attack saga by your tweets. I too need a new license it seems. Thank you for your service.

Christopher (@chrisshill) reported@FOXFOOTY @GerardWhateley No problem with Gather Round staying in SA but to say it wouldn’t be the same in any other state is completely facetious. It could be easily replicated in WA, imagine a game at the WACA then a walk over the bridge to another game at Optus. Play Freo at Freo Oval for fun even.

lolz (@TacticalPhalanx) reported@OrgAust @Optus Theses days their data is very bad.
-
Paolo M (@PaoloMalicse) reported@Optus @optus_help 3rd day no NBN internet, so why do I pay $100 a month for no service? Superloop and Starlink looking very appealing right now. Maybe time for me to switch?
-
ColonialYobbo (@ColonialYobbo) reportedInternet services provider is not solely @OPTUS, and even your damn website APP for submitting incidents stalls. Less focus on sponsorships, more focus on infrastructure and upgrades might help you actually retain customers and offer a decent service.

John Cas (@moresunshine_1) reported@OMGTheMess The problem is, if the Libs got in whilst that program was being rolled out: today's batteries would be replaced with traditional car batteries, older inverters would be used, they pull ye ol optus cable and repurpose it for electrical wiring. Solar replaced with wind etc...

Kevin Chen (@Defiantclient2) reported@antti_engineer @Telstra Signal strength is logarithmic. An additional 3 dBm can be a big difference. @Optus, a partner of Starlink, is claiming that the -115 dBm level is essentially unusable. And there are live measurements where Starlink hovers slightly above and below that number. Also, just look at the measurement in your own app there. The -112 dBm is about bordering going dark red and your own app describes -112 dBm as "Poor".
-
MetOshi (@met_oshi) reported@RealMetroLounge @WindsorDebs Optus and Vodafone had to rely on Telstra, since Telstra owned the network. It wasn't until the government set up a service and bought back the network that things started to change
-
Runyonesque (@Runyonesque3) reportedDon’t subscribe to @Optus the signal is total shite 🤬
-
Ashtyn (@Ashtyn1212897) reported@Optus Maybe shift a little focus to also protecting the privacy of customers also, given your remediations team seem to think they can abuse customer information, mistreat customers and then refuse them the right to a review that was agreed to in that $100M fine you copped?

AussiEx.au (@aussiExau) reportedPhone bills are about to bite harder - Optus, Telstra and Vodafone have told customers mobile prices will rise soon, squeezing household budgets across Australia. First, the hikes are being driven by higher network and operating costs, inflation and ongoing 5G investment, and will hit both postpaid accounts and some prepaid users. Second, timing and scale differ by provider - some increases take effect within weeks and could outpace general inflation, so expect clear monthly impacts. Third, consumer protections are limited - check your contract, know your exit rights and review small-business plans. Act now: compare plans, contact your provider for options and escalate to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman or ACCC if you need help. #Telecoms #CostOfLiving #Australia
