    @Optus @RunnerSA18 I haven’t been with Optus for almost 3 years now, and received an email yesterday afternoon that my personal data was hacked, WHY DID YOU KEEP MY DATA IN YOUR SYSTEM? Who will be paying for the damage that this will cause should@someone use my data to hire a car or take a loan?

    @HYP3RSTRIKE So what now? I feel like I used my passport to prove my identity initially. Is Optus going to pay the fee to issue me a new one?

    @Optus Hi, received an email addressed to me by name confirming my details, including my drivers licence number, were compromised. To change my drivers licence number I am required to give the police report / incident number. Optus chat said it could only be done "face to face"

    @recneps51 @Optus I found the Telecommunications Ombudsman very effective when I had problems with Telstra which they just didn't fix. One call to the TO and problem fixed in a day. Give them a try.

    @TooheyMatthew Haphazardly? I have been with Dodo and another provider both of whom used the Optus 3G network. I wonder if these companies are affected by the data breech?
