    @Optus First of all - your outage detector hasn't shown jack ****. Second of all - I have gone through the steps, the issue is the connection from the wall, not me. You. I don't an automated response, just fix it. You guys are being payed to fix it, it is your job. Not my problem.

    @pythagoNRL @mitchd_90 It took Optus a decade to iron it out the scaling/quality issues. Telstra about the same. But what ******** would they know. And this technical limitation doesn't even touch on the seemingly relevant lack of experience in negotiating international sports broadcast rights.

    Never had Optus or Telstra. More reasons not to. Australian monopolies duopolies triopolies need to be ended. Astonishing that Australia has ONLY 2-4 companies in almost every field - telecommunications, retail, aviation, entertainment, TV etc..foreign brands rule here.

    After much time and angst we work out he is talking about the emerg mobile modem that Optus sent me, not a phone and not something that I got in store with ID. Phew. He says he will look at and fix my orig issue, if not escalate. But I thought they were already escalated?

    Most recent @optus update:Someone (new guy) ran me on the phone yday about 'my' prepaid phone that wasn't working. I was confused. He said it had to have been set up in a store with photo ID. I was even more confused because this has never happened. Now I'm worried about IDfraud.
