    My birthdate, license, medicare card etc is still stored by optus apparently, even though I am no longer a customer and I also have a new home address so not sure how worried I should be?!

    Hey @Optus .. what is going on with Webmail. Utterly, utterly unusable today. Taking forever to load inbox, if it loads at all. Then emails won’t open. It just keeps spinning. Pretty poor considering…

    @Optus why is webmail so incredibly slow ATM? An email sent to me at 0830 still not received at 1530? When will this go-slow service over the past few days improve? #Optus

    @VickiPlatt5 Optus are footing the bill. The customer pays for the replacement and then Optus will reimburse. On news this morning.

    @RichardDroofus @ServiceNSW @Optus Good idea. I found that the three people dealing with licenses etc. at Service NSW had different views on what should be done. Not their fault but head office not providing clear guidance. No second email yet.

    what's crazy is there's likely multiple large companies like optus who have had sensitive data stolen and sold to the highest bidder yet it just never became publicly known
