@geoffswan @NBNCo @Optus So frustrating. They read from a script and don't understand a thing. Highlight was them telling me they'd detected a problem with my WiFi on the modem. But all the connections are hard wired ethernet, I don't even use the WiFi on their modem, sigh.

My @NBNCo connection has been going up/down every 5 mins the last 2 days, downstream router issue probably. 1 hr, 10min chat to @Optus rep, I asked 3 times to book NBN tech, then they ask "where can you see the modem has no DNS?". I ask "Do you know what DNS is?" Silence. Ugh!

@Optus Thank you. And I presume if I switch and port my number over I don’t have to contact Telstra to cancel?

@Optus your Ballarat was approached by myself today for help thou told me to go elsewhere when I got it from their store. Can you assist?

(Don't get me started on how **** Optus Sport app is) I was fuming... And instead of waiting for my device repayments to come to an end, I switched to Mate @beourmate.

I had such a small issue with @optus I wanted clarity on a week ago. Probably max would have taken 30 minutes. Now it’s been mishandled by so many people including 2x not calling when booked in and having me wait for the call for hours each time. Then calling when I was clear I

@Optus @Victoria_Anne8 Your service is down in Alphinton, how long, what’s going on?

  • RobWeller3 Rob Weller✳️✳️✳️✳️😷 (@RobWeller3) reported

@AmyRemeikis Ours ran well on NBN Broadband for several years until the cable went in- now we have occasional dropouts. According to Optus, NBN Boadband wasn’t supposed to be available where we are, but I suspect if you have a good mobile signal you’d be ok

Imagine ending up with a TIO complaint over something so small that Optus just kept making bigger.
