@Jane_L_Kennedy @Telstra And of course he believed it, afterall, the people at telstra told him the NBN called. 6 hours they kept him on the phone and ended up costing my dad $19,000. Absolutely ridiculous and when he called telstra, they didn't give a ****. Switched to optus. Safer /3

@Optus I have a faulty mobile broadband modem with a battery that looks ready to explode and Optus refuse to replace it. I guess they would rather wait till it causes a fire and have to pay out tens of thousands of dollars to cover the damage than to replace a $25 modem. PATHETIC

@Optus So @Optus get even better. Received a call from their complaints team who said they would fix it…but computer said no. So she said she would call me back today at 4pm. It’s now 5:18 and no call. I think she bottled it! And they keep taking too much money off me!!

@Optus having already spoken with multiple people at Optus, they’ve made it abundantly clear that each NBN plan requires another purchase of a new router, even if the customer already has one. No wonder everyone’s switching to @AussieBroadband

@Monocotyledon I worked on the Optus GSM network rollout and the cockies would chew through the antenna feeder cables, requiring nothing less than stainless steel mesh to stop them.

Again continued @Optus reception issues in 2284. Been intermittent call and text reception and no data reception. That's twice in the last 2 months I have had zero or next to minimimal reception. Always breaching their end of the contract

@Telstra I regret switching to @optus to save a few bucks. I had endless trouble. I had separate cases open to activate my SIM, my watch, voicemail and VoLTE. All of the stuff that should just work. Their support was a nightmare and incompetent. They wanted to upsell me constantly.

@Optus Thank you, hopefully I see some actual customer service and solutions instead of standard Optus answers and hours of my time wasted.
