@optus’s response to the data breach shows that they don’t have an adequate disaster recovery plan. It’s been 4 days and they still don’t know which data of which customer is impacted . #kellybayerrosmarin and #markpotter need to resign !

  • Acting_Alone Acting Alone (@Acting_Alone) reported

@AndrewPatrick_ @Optus On the contrary, Optus staff have been quite rude, and very dismissive toward me when I've contacted them about the email I got confirming my ID and drivers licence details were stolen.

  • zinifax Christopher Prince (@zinifax) reported

@SenSHenderson @AlboMP I remember the good old days when the ATO was hacked. That's right. The Optus breach occurred under your government. Oops... you were never in government.

  • Spuddawgg Spud Murphy (@Spuddawgg) reported

@kbrspace @Optus #OptusHack #OptusClassAction So when are we going to start talking about compensation!!! All I get is a generic email!!! Saying sorry our bad all your data and information got leaked!!! #DoBetter

  • Me1011Just prada11 (@Me1011Just) reported

@Optus @IsaacsonMarie Dear heaven . Identify theft constitute creating new accounts for which the person whose identity was stolen would know nothing about no matter how “vigilant” they are. Advice as poor as your non existent Disaster Recovery Plan.

  • Gabasneh Gibbo (@Gabasneh) reported

Hey @Optus - I know you just sent me a bill reminder. How about you **** off and not leak half of Australia's private and sensitive data. If I pay my bill, maybe you could back up millions of people's data on a #Ledger

  • governorgaz The Governor (@governorgaz) reported

@Ollie_Bun @Optus I can confirm all your personal info was leaked to me. And boy do you have some **** to hide I’m selling it to the highest bidder.

  • jacqui22437086 jacqui (@jacqui22437086) reported

Just got an apologetic email from Optus informing me that they are sorry they fell victim to a cyber attack. Someone wasn’t doing their job! Some unknown entity now has my name, DOB, address, drivers license and passport numbers. This isn’t over by a long shot, WTF!

  • AndrewPatrick_ Andrew (@AndrewPatrick_) reported

Attention @Optus customers. You have every right to be angry. I am quite angry as an ex customer who may have had data compromised. But remember, retail staff are not at fault for this failure. Do not take your anger out on them, they don’t deserve it. #OptusDataBreach

  • SeaTomdee Tomasdee (@SeaTomdee) reported

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Why do you retain old customer data and not delete it - at least sensitive data like ID?
