Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CastIronBalcony Terrifying Porridge (@CastIronBalcony) reported

Helpful email from @Optus : "Never click on any links that look suspicious and never provide your passwords, or any personal or financial information." Well you've already provided my personal information, haven't you

  • SWF_946 SWF_946 (@SWF_946) reported

@lesstenny Optus giving away my personal info to hackers. Incompetent fools, should be shut down!

  • CommBank CommBank (@CommBank) reported

We are constantly monitoring for any customer information associated with data-breaches, including the most recent Optus breach. Our intelligence monitoring systems run 24/7/365, allowing us to identify at-risk customers prior to an attack.

  • griffyoung Griff Young (@griffyoung) reported

@SquizzSTK Jane might be right that government should act. I would expect Jane to support heavy fines and compensation to victims by Optus. Optus may have well just published their (our) records on their home page. Serious breach of privacy laws.

  • Carla_SHA_2 Carla🏳️‍🌈Exotïc🇺🇦🔞 (@Carla_SHA_2) reported

@agarner @MacdonellFiona Optus should be hit with a class action sued for billions. Somebody was trying to save money and time by linking a live database to a test network. Optus are going to prey on people‘s IT naivete to get away with this, when they tried to save money and time.

  • itsmedeebs David Bateman (@itsmedeebs) reported

@ashishenigma @Optus @RunnerSA18 That's not necessarily bad. It's when there are lax security protocols which is evident in this matter.

  • jezthefur James Furlong (@jezthefur) reported

@Optus make you sign in multiple times just to chat with customer support - for security - but at the same time allows customers personal information to be stolen from them #priorities #optusfail

  • detispify bam 💥 (@detispify) reported

@jacojac @Optus Optus should be made to foot the cost of reissue of all personal identifiers they lost, they are entirely responsible. Any damages stemming from their terrible security should also be at their feet.

  • ok_lyndsey Lyndsey Jackson (@ok_lyndsey) reported

@deadtheorist @acccgovau Ughh I will probably get in trouble for tweeting about Optus. I need to delete. Look into the EFA board and make a complaint for sure!

  • Hell_Rok Sean Earle (@Hell_Rok) reported

@rainbowdefault @Optus Yeah, it'd be nice if they said "we've warned all relevant parties that people may be spoofing your identity soon" but it's more a "sucks to be you lol" email
