How can we sue Optus for leaking all the private info. Passport, driving license, etc etc. They must held responsible to poor management of cyber security.

@Raf_Epstein Start with getting an alert placed on your credit file - that way if anyone tries to borrow money using your id - you will be notified. Contact equifax - and IMHO Optus should be paying for the credit alert service for you

and your solution is to fork out $50 to have a drivers license replaced. It doesn’t change your date of birth or your drivers license number. Do better Optus. I smell a class action law suit coming.

@samishah @Optus I didn't say it was a perfect solution, but they've enabled anyone with all that data to impersonate you. How many points of ID do you need to identify yourself to your bank over the phone?
