    @RonniSalt @Optus Usually, as part of a major incident like this, they would bring in a specialist crisis management team. But yeah, either they didn't or they aren't listening to them. Or they didn't hire a good one.

    anyone who has ever had any dealings with optus, they are considered customers, someone calls you on your telsta or voda mobile using their optus, you are considered a customer, just about everyone who has used a phone in this country would be on their radar

    @AnnastaciaMP @TMRQld Firstly, that'll just create brand new separate credit files... unlinkable.... Secondly, now anyone can just make up any license and say "optus hack" to auth for literaly everything. You just turned a bad situation into a nightmare. Congratulations.

    @SenPaterson @Birmo You mean the government, don't you? A bit fixated, James. The Labor Party doesnt issue passports. How about you demand Optus cover all costs as a consequence of their negligence. That would be more appropriate, dont you think.

    @SenPaterson @Birmo So your government forced #Optus to hold much more PII than they needed, despite all warnings, then gave them a free pass on securing it properly, have watched it blow up in their faces and now want to blame Labor? You must think we all came down in the last shower. #ffs

    @revardin @SenPaterson @Birmo Optus shd liaise w govt & provide them a list of those impacted indicating what was affected (passport/licence/Medicare etc) Relevant gov dept cld immediately issue new passport/licence/Medicare card to impacted individuals. Optus should pay the govt all assoc fees.

    Why am I hearing nothing from @Optus about how you plan to help me after your incompetence caused my private info to be leaked? I’m reading multitudes of promises allegedly from you in the media but NOTHING direct from you! Do better!!
