    Feel super horrible for all the people affected by the Optus breach. I was lucky I guess that I chose another multi billion dollar leech of a corporation to store my personal data in exchange for a necessary service. (Nationalise Telco Pls)

    @Greybeard3 Yes, but I imagine there will be folk genuinely think this will protect from what's already happened, makes it misleading, & a scam perpetrated on anxious individuals. But Damn & Blast Optus, hey!

    @9NewsMelb I've gotten this email. It confirms my licence details have been stolen. I called VicRoads to ask what I need to do and a recorded message says to call Optus. I call Optus and get told to message them on the app, which I do, only to be told Optus don't have a resolution yet.

    I get the feeling that @Optus customer service have been given a list of responses they can use, and they are just picking the response that most closely matches. Is this normal? Or just something Optus legal/PR have decided to do.
