@ClareONeilMP @AlboMP I cant even get hold of Optus customer service to try and get any assistance or the Equifax code?? I have tried every avenue. How else can I get a response from Optus?

@DoranRobert1 Correct, not responsible for protecting customer’s data although would have been a far better asset to front media than what Optus has produced so far

@Optus You have not provided any further information about how I can access the free monitoring service, Equifax. You have advised me to wait until I am contacted "over the next coming days" - how long is that? It has been 6 days since I was advised my ID documents etc were hacked.

@WCSkinClinic did you send me a text with a link? As a former Optus customer I’m wary.

@yay101 @domknight @Optus Exactly. The biggest issue is that you're forced to provide *all* of this stuff up front, before they even look at your application. In the current climate, that could mean you're providing more than enough info to steal your identity to 5 or 10 companies while looking. Or more.

All this Optus trouble, I have to ask if would we would have been better off with the Chinese company. Never know will we, Morrisson ruled the world back then. God speaks we listen.

@ItsStarMystique @Optus @VodafoneAU We had Optus before, lucky we changed a few years ago, now with NBN. But we had a very hard time trying to not be a customer of theres anymore, they wouldnt listen to our reason and kept on begging us to stay.

@hughriminton I wasn't happy with Optus, even before they told us about the #OptusHack , when they decided to charge for Optus Sports. I told them this week I want to cancel my contract because they broke the promise of free Optus Sports. They offered to provide 10% discount on my plan.
