@Raf_Epstein @Optus I'm an impacted customer and have requested compensation from @Optus to which I have been declined. Just an apology for having all of my personal data stolen from a company I trusted. Absolutely pathetic and I will be moving to a competitor as a result.

  • VaperNt 🇦🇺 Northern Territory Seniors for THR (@VaperNt) reported

@djshotty69 @Optus While we don't have any account with ANZ, there are older Australians that just don't understand the online world. They're not idiots but are forced into technology by today's demands. I help them when I can.

  • PeteRepeatAber Pete Repeat (@PeteRepeatAber) reported

@Optus Why do you make life so difficult in cancelling a service like Disney+??? I've been trying for a number of months without success. I have ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE the Optus call centre people have any idea about what they are doing!!!!! I am on the verge of ......

  • plufim Connell Wood (@plufim) reported

@cameronwilson @Wil_Anderson To change my licence number, I'm having to take a day off work to wait in service SA for at least 3 hours, as this can ONLY be done in person. Also $20. So... that's not nearly enough, Optus.

  • R3iGns42 Harley (@R3iGns42) reported

Optus should let us cancel our contract with no fee. So we can move to a different company, hand our devices in and let us walk away from this **** company. They are nothing without us.

  • fringeSimo Simo (@fringeSimo) reported

@cameronwilson Like many others trying to work out a) wtf do we do now b) wtf do I do to leave Optus

  • AnthonyLucas30 Anthony Lucas (@AnthonyLucas30) reported

Just got off the phone to @Optus. Customers who have been hacked will get a 12 month subscription to @Equifax as a means of compensation (valued at $15 per month.) I’m told they are “not crediting or offering any other means of compensation” to customers. Kinda poor.

  • DavidS1247 David Susak (@DavidS1247) reported

@Saxdude26 @DamBusterPrest @manjusrii I am an Optus customer (multiple services) and their customer service is the worst. In person, over the phone, bot chat you name it…their products I find are good just the customer service is Shiite.

  • bootrino bootrino (@bootrino) reported

Optus wasn't hacked. They simply left all the customer records at the front door for anyone to pick up.

@Kristyg1 @Raf_Epstein @ClareONeilMP Change your Optus login to be safe. Notify your bank. Enable 2-factor authentication on any online service you use that has 2FA. Be wary of any potential email scams & texts or calls purportedly from organisations etc requesting further info.
