    @Jeremy_Kirk @Optus @medibank The most glaring example of that is not walking back from the line of a sophisticated attack which was ill-advised at best, and clearly not supported by all the available evidence. The conflict between public announcements and individual advice from Optus staff doesn't help 4/n

    @Yieki1 With my watch, I started 2022 with a cheapie, just to see if tracking stuff would help while I decided about the apple watch. It did help, so I got it on an Optus plan/sale & using it is such a huge diff. w a big jump in the technology. SO much functionality.

    @Optus my daughter spent ONE HOUR & 43 MINUTES with your ‘customer service’ to whom she had to explain consumer law and after offering solutions completely irrelevant to her problem your ‘customer service’ operator rudely hung up. There are screen shots to prove. Please explain.

    @jacquidark @ErinHelyard @Jeremy_Kirk I know. Guess we will know soon enough who is behind it. I have been hit twice (optus and vinomofo). Never purchased from the wine place but do receive their emails. arrgghhh. When will it stop?

    Ta for nothing @Optus. Incompetence masterclass: the 'dedicated' data breach phone option leads to people whose grasp of English is quite poor (NOT their fault!). Counced to sales, then customer service. Bank account drained but Optus still wants to bill me?! #auspol #DataBreach

    @Jeremy_Kirk @Optus @medibank very true. at least Medibank is fronting media. All Optus can do is send apology email 2 weeks ago with Dear Customer, Not even a name. I wonder if they have control over all data systems. Do both use same parent CRM software?

    @Jeremy_Kirk @Optus @medibank Anyone that says Optus' approach is either ignorant, or simply has not lived through a ransomware or even cyber-incident broadly. Fronting media, open communication, presenting the facts as they are UNCOVERED is the key.
