  • MarcWigan Marcus Wigan (@MarcWigan) reported

    @Optus leak. I had a @PayID hack(could zero my entire savings in a couple of minutes) I managed to get it neutralized just in time- given the severity of this category if ID abuse I contacted @VicRoads to promptly zero my known leaked DL validity and issue a new one.

  • Amata_georgeii George Binns (@Amata_georgeii) reported

    @Jeremy_Kirk @medibank @AusFedPolice Any advice for a medibank/optus customer at this point? 😵💀

  • benrfairless Ben Fairless (@benrfairless) reported

    @Asher_Wolf Just spoke to someone at Optus Customer Relations about Passport renewals. They said that they are following @dfat advice that passports don’t need to be renewed so no reimbursement of renewal. Said if I wasn’t happy that Ombudsman was next step.

  • RonShamgar Ron Shamgar (@RonShamgar) reported

    @medibank $MPL cyber hack is probably the worst Australia has seen and way more serious than @Optus What a disaster and goes to show how these super profitable companies don’t spend much on cyber security as they should!

  • PipierSt Pipier ST (@PipierSt) reported

    @9NewsAUS My passport, driving licence, home adress, phone number, and my children's passports as well were all exposed. So what precisely is Optus hiding? The level of bad security and dangerous leaking they have exposed me/my family? Whom will take the blame? I suffered bc of it greatly.

  • Punter1013 Punter101 (@Punter1013) reported

    @DHurburgh @MrKRudd @NBN_Australia That’s the main problem… NBN is too expensive for what you get… my Optus cable was better and cheaper

  • meggsy46 💧Meryl Nell (@meggsy46) reported

    @AshleyLeahy My information was held by all three and I know my details were exposed in the Optus hack. I have never knowlingly been a customer of Optus so in my case it really sux big time.

  • VK4VIP Brandon Gordon (@VK4VIP) reported

    @Optus Nah there are no issues in my area This problem has been happening since you guys launched your 900mhz LTE network here, you guys either need to turn it off or work out a way for it to work properly

  • benrfairless Ben Fairless (@benrfairless) reported

    IT Teams should not be hung out to dry when it comes to protecting customer information. Incidents from #optus and #medibank are not failings in Cyber Security. They are failings in Information Security. Information Security is the responsibility of senior management.

  • Minus777 Peter (@Minus777) reported

    @9NewsSyd There's something dodgy about this. Optus told everyone to sign up to Equifax which has been hacked before. They're impossible to contact, and once you've entered your details, it says the system is down.
