@ClareONeilMP @AlboMP I have heard nothing from Optus since last Friday’s “oops” email. Not a word! Meanwhile I’ve got zero idea what private information of mine is being used illegally or what potential problems I may encounter in the future regarding use of my data. Not even a bloody text message!

@Optus Still trying to find out if I’m impacted by the breach or not. Some support and info would be great.

@Optus i was recently informed that to activate my esim i must go in store. i was not informed of this prior to my purchase and as a rural customer i would have to drive four hours. this is extremely unfair as i don’t have the ability to travel. rude service does not help.

@abcnews This is simply too shallow a response. Govt. needs to properly protect its citizens, not offer mealy-mouthed platitudes. A dedicated service that does not rely on Optus needs to be set up by govt. NOW. Then charge Optus for the cost of resolving the issue. Plus 30% if you like.

Hey @Optus, how come you still haven't sent out a message to every customer about this data breach. Not good enough. Soon I'll be saying goodbye for good.

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews My wife is a former customer of Optus who had personal information stolen. Why has Optus retained personal information of former customers, surely the need for that information has passed and should have been deleted.

@westaustralian @katinacurtis Why? It’s the stupid federal government that requires telcos like @Optus to hold this sensitive KYC identifying information in the first place.

@cameronwilson I haven’t been an @Optus customer for a decade or more and I got the notification. Omnishambles, I wasted an hour on the phone to them today and got absolutely no answers as to what has been leaked. I guess next step is stand in an Optus store until I get somewhere.
