I feel for the poor bugger from @Optus who had to call me today. I pointed out how ironic it was that he had to CONFIRM my ID. Asked him how #Optus was going to compensate me for time wasted standing in line at TMR to get my license changed. Not ******* happy Jan! #OptusBreach

Like every @Optus customer in the country I have obsessively checked my inbox in case I am a victim of their mismanagement. Today a note referring to their “recent” “contact”. Please just get your comms right @Optus . It is after all the central platform of your business.

Optus are so crap, spent an hour and a half on their online chat portal only to be told to dial in (I already know there are huge wait calls), when I dial in they tell me to use their online chat feature. Driving me mad! They really are bad.

@Sw3333p @Asher_Wolf It appears that this is a separate breach, and that Optus customer data was not affected. Interesting though that news of this broke in February 2021, which is when Singaporean data breach notification requirements came into effect.

@Optus @YouCanCountOnMB I don't know what's worse.. the absolute lack of logic in that excuse, OR if it's true.. It's taken them this long to double check who was affected AND/OR their double checks have resulted in customer details being leaked. #amateurhour #shitshow #classact
