    @abcnews Did Dodo customers also get affected due to this data breach as it uses Optus Network.

    Almost 10 years since I was an @Optus customer, how dare they still have my identifiable (although very out of date) info. Very disconcerting.

    @Lee55264731 @alifrance5 @Optus Yeah I know, hence why my account details are withheld. I’ve had a name mismatch with optus for years, I’ve asked on countless occasions to fix. The hackers can have a field day with my ID. If optus can’t get it right I struggle to understand how the hacker will.

    @SenPaterson @Birmo Why wasn't the Telecommunications Act changed over the last decade to remove the need for OPTUS to keep all that information for people who no longer had accounts with them. Snivelling ****.

    @3AWNeilMitchell He is doing something you dill . Read a newspaper or do an Internet search Sad state of affairs when state govt employees have to spend weeks fixing an Optus breach of security . Terrible for Optus customers

    Have never knowingly had an @OPTUS account - yet advised my data has been compromised. Current customer of Exetel. Previously with Virgin Mobile and then Vodaphone. How has this happened?
