Optus sucks! Suspended my service two weeks ago and asked for a refund and checked with them today and was told the person who ‘helped’ me didn’t do anything 😮‍💨 Two years long WFC didn’t help you make any improvements, I am so impressed #optussucks @Optus

@carolduncan I just ditched Optus, it was the worst customer experience in my 35 years in the IT industry. Poor technical support, two day waits for 2nd level support, not ringing back when their ****** connection dropped my off. Amateurs of the first order. Oh yes no direct phone support .

@Telstra Hi Greg, last month I got a prepaid SIM card for my sister in law who was having trouble with Optus coverage, I top it up with $50 credit but we never ended up using it,then over night my bank account had paid out another $50 apparently I hadn’t ticked to box to turn off

So, ring Optus using main website's listed contact number and get bargain basement service. But, for Business products, get the number specifically for businesses, and that is a completely different experience. Partly my bad <sigh>

Just a heads to anyone who's a optus Customer there is a scam going on saying there is a problem with you monthly Direct debits and asking to give them your information don't press the link.. #optus

Give Plan ID, you're ready to purchase, but get series of questions not matching plan details. So phone down, in utter exasperation, but with no obvious place to purchase online either, so do customers just give up? @Optus

Btw I’ve been on the @Optus chat now for more than 30 minutes and still no explanation. Just that they’ll email whoever was supposed to call. I arranged a call back because they had delays and only had late night availability to deal with my issue and I needed to sleep.

@Optus Netflix has heaps of great content that I pay for and I don’t have any ads that I have to sit through. Weird having a subscription service that you have to pay for AND you have ads.

  • shoppe52 Stephen Hope (@shoppe52) reported

@abcnews you might want to ask Optus what caused many of it’s mobile broadband customers to receive SMS’s yesterday advising they had received a request to put their service ‘on hold’. Had mine turned off but hadn’t requested it. They restored it after I contacted them but WTAF?

@amaysimAU This has been going on for ages, I'm lucky that my other phone is on another network, which begs the question, why am I sticking with you. I know this, it all went to crap when optus took over
