@LeeCrockford Yep I got the same today? Now I’m just waiting to understand what the process and eta for the new licence number ? You think @optus is bad at comms @VicRoads Don’t even want you to call them !!
@DrShaneRRR I'm charging at time and a half considering I've had to sort this **** out on the three days off I was supposed to be spending with my kid this holidays. I'm going to invoice Optus and claim on tax as a business expense 😐
Love to have my ID info stolen when I haven’t been an @Optus customer since March of 2020 🙃
.@Optus you have the single worst customer service ever. First you leak my data and now been on hold for an hour and 20 mins...
@gfurlong Should I inbox you an Optus rep’s cell number who helped when my account had issues?
Actually baffling the state government was able to change policy and issue new licences, against policy, before Optus could work out exactly what it had ostensibly given away
@SonofSolaris @Telstra How responsible? Should every company have full control of every other companies security systems? Hell should every customer have done a full security audit of Optus? Thankfully it's only names and work emails that leaked and nothing sensitive.
@Optus Most information on identity theft issues state it’s good to not have direct debits, and have more control over payments leaving your accounts. Why is @optus continuing to force people to keep with the automatic payments after having their data breached?
How’s the absolute cheek on Optus telling me my bill hasn’t been paid, the same day they’ve just told me my drivers licence number (along with all my other information) has been exposed but not contacting me back about my complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman
Had to go into an Optus branch and ask the staff there for help to find out whether my account actually was breached and what the exposed ID document was (my passport). I feel very sorry for the staff handling all this in person, but really, that could have been an email.
