  @JoGu1802 It was because Optus no longer supported the iPhone 5 on its app that I upgraded. Because it’s DAMN hard to use the app to prepay for your phone when the app doesn’t… support your phone…

  @NizaarKinsella Aslong as its short and wet And not dry and bouncy I feel sorry for the Milan teams in perth, usually optus stadiums grass is A grade, but last few seasons its been horrible for our local sport AFL

  @jfwfreo @D_LittleproudMP Exactly. I live remotely, and the local tower broke down. It took 3 weeks for Optus to arrive. Meanwhile I used the local pay phone most days to conduct business and to phone concerned friends and relatives. Littleproud has no idea how the remote live. He’s just another National

  @theheraldsun Telstra’s outage affected many states but Victoria’s train network was most affected. Why more than other states? State government stuff up. Optus has had outages too so you shouldn’t be fully reliant on these telcos.

  @heidimur This isn’t just about Telstra. We saw similar issues with Optus. If our emergency communications and critical infrastructure are meant to be resilient, why do single network outages continue to have such widespread impacts? It’s time to review whether our redundancy is truly independent, or whether we’re relying on backups that share the same points of failure.

  @Bigly20 @Caitlen2310 The Guardian asks why hasn't the government acted on regulations since the Optus outage last year? I ask what did the Coalition do about regulations after the Telstra outages in 2016 & 2018? What private discussions and/or guarantees did they obtain from Telstra after those events? In 2018 Triple Zero calls dropped out across 5 states for 10 hours. If it were so simple why didn't the Coalition insist on Telstra installing back up systems? Maybe we need a Royal Commission (joke).

  @jbulldogs4 Not really as its still ongoing. They told people to use a optus or vodafone device thats not Telstra. Thats some reliable service isnt it. Shouldn’t be happening but probably a overseas disgruntled workers!.

  @bamberee 🤷 Not unexpected. Optus version worse. BUT the same as then, today. Lynch - no plan. Rebound - no defence. Outlet for hand pass - nil. Even with Marcus to buy half an hour. Selection/positions - bewildering. Reid DE&t/o really poor-noone with him? No coaching response to these
