    @georgehahn @profgalloway Very much a hot topic in Australia last week as a major telco, Optus got hacked and thousands of former and current customer's data released and sold.

    @EveryoneHasOne4 @penelope_pissed @DanielAndrewsMP Problem - VicRoads needs to get involved - they need to reissue licences. Optus can’t do that. The people who’ve had their data stolen are the ones that should be the priority.

    @macsween_prue @Optus Hi @macsween_prue, If you deadlock the front door however leave the back door open, then someone may pop in & nick your goon & jewellery. Had the goon been on the hills hoist, then the damage would have been minimal. Does this clear sophisticated cyber security up for you petal?

    @Lee_Tennant Never had a problem with Optus over past 25 years, till now. Horse has bolted and though Telstra is better alt. here, not a snowflake in hell they'll get my business

    @mizanrsharif I'd think that any cyber insurance would have due care clauses. What I've heard of the incident would suggest that Optus's risk management was lacking. Any insurance company covering Optus would be looking at whether Optus was in breach of its cover.

    @FaustFury Over here Optus (A telecommunications company) left a whole lot of Customer Data(Including deadnames of Trans customers) wide open for hackers to take and they did. I just moved away from them.
