@SenKatyG You are the minister for finance, for God's sake stop tweeting about social issues. There is a major crisis for the customers of Optus which I am one. The government needs to put an end to online lending , all loans need to be done in person.

@MeganAWinslow1 @MareeStanton7 Yeah the problem is that any customer that had an account with Optus was affected,but,luckily prepaid wasn't affected,so I'm very fortunate I had x2phones,my son said mum drug dealers have 2 phones I laughed and said if I lose 1 I have a spare,he smiled

@troyhunt There seems to be a widespread data collection frenzy among organisations, corporations and government agencies and not just Optus! What data is really necessary to operate a service. How about - Data sparingness and minimization - Data collection and retention policies

@Cyclops_Trader @Optus The main damage is financial. It's with the bank that you deal with and your super...if that is in a fund. You need to make sure neither can be transferred or details changed without you being notified. Banks now have features for that. Not so sure about all super funds!
