    @Optus - As a former business customer who no longer works for my old employer, I am trying to find out if my licence has leaked. As you can only send an MFA code to my old work email, that I can no longer access, I am now forced to go into store to change the email addess. Why??

    I wonder what the other telcos do with storing customer identification. If Optus didn't encrypt or destroy the info, I wonder what other providers are doing. Particularly smaller providers. Nobody media or government don't seem to be asking

    @AnnastaciaMP @TMRQld This better not come out of the taxpayers pocket!!! Optus needs to pay for their mess up. The govt is too easy on corporate **** ups and happy to use tax money to cover their corporate friends when it should be going to health care etc

    I love how a few weeks ago, Optus 'upgraded' the network in my area and before that, said that my **** internet was likely because of something on my end. Wanna say that now you *****? I have days where there's not a cloud in the sky and I have bars bo no internet now.

    I 100% support @MarkDreyfusKCMP' push to limit how long companies can hold onto our data. As an example, wholly owned Optus subsidiary Amaysim still has my account data. Despite leaving over six years ago, I can still log in and there's no easy way to delete it. Not great.

    @AgedAndrew @Optus The CEO in Australia isn't the problem! Their IT dept & engineers are! I hope I'm not immeshed in this Optus disaster, all I've got is an email saying blah blah but nothing to reassure me that my details haven't been disclosed!

    @hughriminton Lodged complaint with Optus & ombudsman to try to get details of what data breached after very unsatisfactory script based chat with Optus. Got script based response saying that if my DL been breached I would have or will get a call 😳. Had to give access to my account for that!

    @Christi05571146 I’ve never been an optus customer and got an email. We have however used coles prepaid for the kids phones. (Which uses the optus infrastructure)

    Getting my optus direct debit feels like it should be illegal right now. Very good at making sure my cash comes their way every month, very bad at keeping my data secured @Optus
