Hey @Optus @Telstra and @VodafoneGroup (or the Aus equivalent) - a easy way to distinguish real business numbers from fake ones would be to have a verified ✅ when the number comes through, this would stop spam and help the elderly from scams. Eg: Energex ✅ - here is your bill

@pm4pmIV @Optus O yes, when my husband died, I told them to change it into my name; they refused unless I sent them a death notice. I refused. They would not budge. So I told them to send him the Bill then; namely Heaven. They sent a bad debt notice. I told them to bite me. Acct. cancelled.

The @Optus live chat support is embarrassingly bad. 23 minutes and still trying to prove I'm a customer! Weirdly, when I call to pay a bill, that side is very efficient

@stilgherrian Made yet another call to Optus today trying to fix all the things they stuffed a month ago, finally got someone who might have a clue, who will hopefully be calling back on Monday. Here's hoping Optus doesn't find out and fire his arse before then.

Anyone use Belong mobile? Any good? I’m with Optus but they’re giving me the shits - I can’t use my phone at home to make calls coz they’ve been ‘upgrading the network’ since mid-Dec! And I work from home 3 days a week. Paying $50/month for SFA service…
