@LIVEINMOUNTAIN I thought the problem was the phone because the other phones worked ok. Tried everything: static IP addresses etc....next day an iPhone played up. Did a factory reset on the router and bingo. I know very very little about this stuff. Telstra & Optus could have helped.

@Optus NBN not working. Have been told by @Optus customer service it takes 2-3 business days before they will look into it. Is this the worst KPI by not only Telco's, but in any service industry?? Do not use @Optus !!!!!

@Optus hi yes i do troubleshooting steps once a day every day they dont help at all the reason they dont help is the thing that is the problem is congestion of the 4g towers because at 1230am my internet is great then at about 730am it turns to crap until 1230am

@optus Ping (300ms) and Speed (25Mps) slow tonight in Newcastle. Normally 20ms and 50Mbps. How could i find out if this is a Optus network capacity problem?

@stuujin_ @Optus That's ridiculous. They sent a message over a week ago saying there was planned outages then said it was cancelled. Never got an update that it was then going ahead again.
