    @CharacterEyes @ClareONeilMP @Qldaah Optus has pretty much no accountability under our laws. It's left up to the company and its shareholders to decide if she's accountable or not. This sucks but unless some legislation is changed to protect individuals, corps can do w/e here in Aus.

    Trying to call ANY of their support numbers isn’t working. I’m not paying my bill until this **** is over and will be moving companies, glad I don’t have direct debit set up @Optus #OptusHack

    @ClareONeilMP @antissa If I did this at my school all Hell would break loose. We get in trouble for any sharing of private information - as we should. How do people whose entire private identity data has been taken from Optus cope with future threat of impersonation?

    @noplaceforsheep I don’t believe the data is that valuable or at least the data has been previously stolen from other sources and are available on the dark web. The hackers are hoping Optus will cave into fears of further damage.

    As a customer of @optus, I’ve noticed that early May 2022, the mobile app was not allowing full logins, I went through the usual troubleshooting, and btw I come from a technical background @acccgovau #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach #OptusFail

    @newhoggy After the Optus breach there really is very little I can do as a customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere but that doesn’t fix leaking personal information.
