I have been an @Optus customer for over 20 years. Then they exposed my personal information to cybercriminals, refused to tell me what personal information they had until I complained to the Ombudsman then refused to pay to replace it. As of now I am no longer an Optus customer.

@HivesRoy I thought Optus too. I read those of us whose driver’s licence numbers have been exposed in the hacking incident can now do it online. I wondered how that was going to work as Optus is paying the cost.

Was wondering why I wasn't getting a rebate back from Medicare. Turns out they've had to issue me a brand new card and everything without telling me. So I guess I was part of the Optus hack? 🤨

The ACCC @acccgovau and Communications Minister @MRowlandMP need to look at attempts by Optus @Optus to delay or prevent its customers changing carriers. Legislate, fine or show cause/suspend/cancel licence.
