@Optus Thank you for reply. I checked there is no outage in my area. Just did a test, 5G modem will lose all the 5G/LTE signal immediately after downloaded over 7GB of data (legal game content data from Steam) and than can't get back the signals for at least 30 mins.

@cotchinsoda @Telstra The only fix was to ditch Telstra. I was out of contract so I went to Optus. They have real people that speak to you!! Got a new modem, and internet and wifi speed has been like South Korea. I’ve heard good testimonials about other providers like Aussie Broadband too.

@LeoPatRoss well u probably **** out of luck then sorry. only thing u can do is enquire maybe asking them to match Optus 500g because they are competitor.

My mother cancelled an account with @Optus in July, who then repeatedly sent her overdue notices then told her that she owed nothing and the account was closed. Now debt collectors are sending letters. Seriously WTF is wrong with them. (And yes, it is off to the TIO)

Just got off the phone with @Optus asking them to send bills to our current address i.e. where there is active service, not the address the service was changed from 6-months ago. This is the 6th time I've had to call and make this request. How many more times will I have to call?

@Adophus_ Do you still get this with exitlag or wtfast? Only time i got 300+ ping was because bad optus routing, exitlag and wtfast seemed to fix it.
