0xMetaLabs (@0xMetaLabs) reportedIn 2022, Optus (Australia's 2nd biggest telco) exposed 9.8 million customer records. Root cause: an old API endpoint from a legacy system, left unauthenticated, facing the public internet. No one knew it was still running.

Dave XRP Lion (@davexrpliono2) reported💥BREAKING NEWS: Let's talk about Optus and the 'outage'!💥 There has been a lot of speculation and questioning over the suspicious Optus outage. This explosive video exposes what is really going on and shows with evidence its links to the corruption in the Australian Government

DamagedByDan (@DamagedByDan) reported@optus 4G collapsed along Dynon Road, Footscray, as per usual ever since 5G started. Can’t even watch cable news. Before 5G used to get 70mbps up and down, now 4g average about 10Mbps dn (tonight even less) and about 1 to 3 up. How is allowed?
-
WestralianOrtho (@WestralianOrtho) reported@InTheMixer_FM The problem in Perth is HBF stadium is shite and we don't have our own version of CommBank or Ammi Park so any major rectangular event defaults to Optus statium which is a terrible stadium for rectangular field sports.
-
ACCAN (@ACCAN_AU) reportedAnother #TripleZero failure has been reported. @newscomauHQ reported a nationwide Optus #outage yesterday where calls to 000 did not connect. Australians should not have to accept “intermittent issues” as normal. We need enforceable reliability standards and better regulation.

Peter Watson (@PWestieNZ) reported******* OneNz are the most useless comms provider on planet earth they are worse than Optus in Australia and that takes some effort because last time I was with optus their tech support left me feeling (allegedly) homicidal .... so a great big fat **** YOU to @OneNZ or whatever shell company hoovers up money and gives sweet **** all in the way of service to the ever suffering rural NZ'er Where is my ******* @starlink ?
-
Hugo (@Chilka_) reportedI wanted to apply but I'm sorry the UX is ridiculously bad. @Optus just give an email i can reach and send all the info and my cv bc I'aint gonna talk to this damn bot and wait 5 seconds each time i put an info. It took me 1 min just to fill my basic account info.
-
Benjamin Bavea (@BBavea) reportedOptus is traditionally the best service at the farm & being that Starlink is temperamental, at least I'll finally have good coverage there. Of all five networks that I can conveniently access, none of them work properly here.
-
Ananda Nepali (@anandanepali99) reported@AlboMP I paid Optus ~$40 every month for a full year, and now I couldn’t able to cancel my SIM service. It’s incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. Services should make it easy to cancel if you’re not happy with them - not trap customers like this. Optus, sort this out! 💸😤

Paolo M (@PaoloMalicse) reported@Optus @optus_help 3rd day no NBN internet, so why do I pay $100 a month for no service? Superloop and Starlink looking very appealing right now. Maybe time for me to switch?
