Hello @Optus can you please explain when I go on to check an outage it says “we’ve identified a fault which means customers in the area may have no access to internet etc” but when I go on the help line they tell me there is no outage 🤔

Spending $290/month on @optus & have been a customer for ~6 years. So I called them to see if they could look after me better or I’ll take my business elsewhere. After almost an hour on the phone they said they won’t offer me a discount & are happy for me to say goodbye. #NoOptus

@Optus I’d settle for a service that actually worked. 500 meters of a main highway, 30km from town. Shockingly poor, calls drop out, internet is slower than dial up. I pay for this crap.

@SwoopLuke @Optus I only ever catch the train to the footy but yes! For a lot of the journey it’s ****, I always just assumed we were going through no reception areas but that doesn’t really make sense hahah

@ladyhana @Asher_Wolf Years ago my then young dog was in my office while I was taking a call in the hallway. I hear a yelp and he rushes out of my office. The call ends I go back to my desk to discover there is no internet. After some trouble shooting I discover he’d chewed through the Optus coax.

@Dave__Robinson @sydney_ev Surely all service stations in Australia have a data connection for their payments? Even small eftpos machines just have a Telstra or Optus sim in them.

@DanielWatson5 I’m Optus slay. You can get a cheap 25 sim from Aldi and go off Telstra network pretty sure.
