@zanekyal Hey, Nicole. It appears that the screenshot shown captures a partially completed Speed Test for your connection to the Optus Mobile Network, as opposed to the same Wi-Fi connection as your TV. We would recommend connecting your phone to the same Wi-Fi connection and completing this again. Should there be any further concerns after this, please don't hesitate to send us a Direct Message, where we can verify some additional information and assist further. - Dillon

@jfwfreo @D_LittleproudMP Exactly. I live remotely, and the local tower broke down. It took 3 weeks for Optus to arrive. Meanwhile I used the local pay phone most days to conduct business and to phone concerned friends and relatives. Littleproud has no idea how the remote live. He’s just another National

AusAlert cost ~$130 million to rollout. A 13x increase from the $10m initial budget. Here are the known costs and estimates: $10m Initial Planning Taskforce $60-70m Carrier access tolls (Telstra, Optus, TPG) $30m Security architecture & hardening $20-25m Foreign hardware + offshore managed services $5-10m Public awareness, testing & administration Want to know how each allocation is spent? Too bad. Contractors and government use "Commercial-in-Confidence" clauses to keep specific commercial margins and costs hidden from the public eye. A 1300% blowout with no accountability.

@WestCoastEagles so Milan derby at Optus. In what part of the oval are they going to situate the rather tiny pitch? And are they erecting seating on a surface that's already having problems?

@Optus The advise didn't help. Can @Optus explain why already logged in users still need to do identify verification form as well as verification code. What security concerns the process actually addresses? Compared with putting unnecessary burden and waste time for users.

@footyindustryAU Granted for those states. AO and Optus were well executed. That Tassie will cost more than either for a stadium less than half the capacity pisses me off (I'm aware of all the supply side problems). Whilst Brisbane Roar is being fkd around by Suncorp having the busiest schedule.

@Optus ordered a phone upgrade and eSIM. Got the email saying the order number would arrive next. But nothing. Told the order wasn’t processed ‘yet’. Had this before. They say order again and you end up with 2 accounts. When you cancel one, it incurs fees and a debt agency. Scam.

@jazzpk Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024, since then Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive a reply to adjust network settings to no avail. Please talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

Further update, Mum was just on the phone with Optus and apparently Optus (an internet provider) isn’t able to call NBN to fix this, they can only text message them. Or at least that’s the line they are spitting out about the network degradations DO YOUR JOB!!!

@aidancellini4 @zerohanger I have never once seen a game at optus (or any other stadium) sell tickets for $35 unless you’re a child lmao
