@Optus The advise didn't help. Can @Optus explain why already logged in users still need to do identify verification form as well as verification code. What security concerns the process actually addresses? Compared with putting unnecessary burden and waste time for users.

@drewlevin Hello Drew Levin, I apologise for once again commenting about this issue :c I have tried so hard to contact support only to be shut down again and again. My name is Blythe (riot account is SimpCat#Meow,) I have been playing league for a few years now in the OCE server. It is a very important part of my life, I’ve met life long friends and my amazing fiancé, Samuel, while playing league of legends. A few months ago my fiancé’s account, (noXis#Kayn) was breached by an overseas IP and subsequently banned for scripting. When we logged off the evening prior nothing was out of the ordinary—we ragequit after getting absolutely smashed two games in a row (rip) and then opted to play minecraft to chill out instead. Fast forward to the following day we go to log into our accounts as per normal only to learn that Sam’s been perma banned. We were both absolutely shocked, heartbroken and confused, I instantly went into my previous game logs, clicked on his profile and went into his recent game history. We found 3 games of ARAM mayhem had been played on his account within an hour of us logging off for the evening—in such games we absolutely saw the person using scripts. After doing some digging through emails we came to learn that Samuel’s email address had been compromised through one of the Australian Optus breaches, in his archived emails we found multiple log in attempts for his riot account, two of which had been successful. They turned off his 2FA for easier and more discreet access. We reached out to the riot support team via the ticket system for help, explaining what had happened as well as the sentimental value of this account. We were subsequently informed that a manual review of the games show scripts and any further ticket will be auto-closed. We KNOW scripts were used, we reviewed the games via my account and could see them clear as day—the issue was that his account had been breached unlawfully and subsequently banned for an offence he did not commit! We’ve both been actively working over these past few months to try and get some kind of help from ANYONE only to be shut down again and again. I have refused to touch league of legends, TFT and Riftbound since this has happened. We have both never shared our account details with anyone and he did have 2FA on. He did all the right things to secure his account and it was still compromised :c I have been disheartened, disappointed and frustrated. I understand that you are a busy person and that the you do not represent the support team, I’m just looking for some kind of advice, guidance and direction on how to get the support team to open an investigation! Just today we got another email about an attempted log in from overseas! Please, please help. I’m begging you :c Thank you for your time, i apologise once again and I look forward to hearing from you.

@Azstro2 @AJG_87 his decision to put murdock on whitfield (noting some bad umpiring in favour of west coast too) led to them beating gws at optus lol he’s not doing nothing

AusAlert cost ~$130 million to rollout. A 13x increase from the $10m initial budget. Here are the known costs and estimates: $10m Initial Planning Taskforce $60-70m Carrier access tolls (Telstra, Optus, TPG) $30m Security architecture & hardening $20-25m Foreign hardware + offshore managed services $5-10m Public awareness, testing & administration Want to know how each allocation is spent? Too bad. Contractors and government use "Commercial-in-Confidence" clauses to keep specific commercial margins and costs hidden from the public eye. A 1300% blowout with no accountability.

@nicko_316 Thats bad news for Brizvegas if you’re right. Freo will be favourites in that match up at Optus.

@LCHF_Matt I had this same NBN box when I was with Optus internet. I got rid of it when I changed to full fibre with Aussie BB. I hated Optus, but I have to say, the NBN box itself never failed in all the years I had it. Will be interested to hear how you go with Starlink

@optus_help @Optus the optusnet email service seems to be down again. I can’t send or receive emails. Why does this happen every few weeks?

@karavas_alex Nah - not playing at the G becomes a bigger myth. Some clubs don’t play at Optus in a season but maybe expected to play a final there. It’s just a mind set, the more it gets talked about, the bigger the issue , we’ll be fine
