    @9NewsAUS The hacker must be arrested; charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced never to be released. Optus must be expunged never to reappear.

    @RobertCawood2 @BeachGirlJan They'll be a lot of Optus users with a bad credit rating soon & they'll be clueless as a too why?> Meanwhile the recipients of the Optus customers records will be making a fortune from using the said details to set up fraudulent loans etc etc.

    @NeddyJes It’s always a bad experience. Australian Federal Police and Australian Cyber Security Centre are working with Optus cyber team to get a resolution.

    @troyhunt You've spoken before about having easy to find contact info for people to report security issues and I don't think Optus does that, but there are a BUNCH of ways to contact them generally.

    Excellence customer service from #CBA #CommonwealthBank email from them stated ‘We are constantly monitoring for any customer information associated with data-breaches, including the recent #Optus breach.’ Excellent work from this financial institution

    @Cherie_L___ Hi Cherie, Dodo customers have not been impacted by the Optus cyberattack. While we use the Optus network as a provider for our mobile phone services, we can reassure our customers that their personal information is managed securely by us and is not shared with Optus. (1/2)

    Interesting that the Aus Govt requires #Optus to obtain and retain this incredibly sensitive data, but didn’t require it to be encrypted & secured beyond something human error could affect? This isn’t just an Optus problem. Govt is also culpable & trying very hard to hide that.
