@Killarneyag @nig_michael @Telstra @CasFarmerCD @Optus If you were lucky & had a real tuned antenna setup/low-loss cable, you might just be able to just connect... as long as no line of sight issues. If you were that bit closer south-west below the ranges you’d, almost be able to hook into the @Stirlings2Coast @Pivotel network 🤔

@Killarneyag @nig_michael @Telstra @CasFarmerCD @Optus @Stirlings2Coast @Pivotel Also, if you’re on telstra, might be worth flicking your modem down to 3G and giving that a shot. Might not be quite as bad 😊

@FootyRhino @OptusStadium Based on previous bulldust with the bloody “home” finals in the 90’s the stupid contract at MCG and the Vic media there’s little hope of a GF at Optus. Viva Brisvegas! Even if there’s a lot of sense in playing in Perth.

@ShababHossain13 Not happy with Optus. I do@not want an answer crease in data or a new plan. I never use that much data . My complaint is they have not made it easy to reduce or change existing plan. Impossible hold for hours #communication_ombudsman

@Firedingo @Muted79 It's not a contract though; you signed up for a month to month plan so you could move plans up and down as you wanted, you can also leave at any time without penalty - but flip side is Optus can also change the plan (change $$, inclusions etc) as long as you get 30 days notice

@myronmy9 @Tiger2047 @Optus Look if you don't burn through a lot of data, even the 12 month prepaid plans from Optus/Telstra, or their resellers like Boost/Coles/etc aren't bad - and hey, you've prepaid and locked in that deal for 12 months :-)

@Optus I have no use for an extra 60gb of data. But I do need that $4/mo. While that cost may seem small, with the cost of everything else rising, I’m beginning to watch carefully where my money goes. The first thing I plan to cut down? An unnecessary 160gb phone plan. 2/

@Firedingo @Muted79 No, the plan is separate to the device repayments -device repayments are interest free over 12/24/36 months. The plan part is still month to month, which is why you can change it (move it up, down etc) and Optus can change it ($$$, extra GB, etc) - without affecting repayments.

@myronmy9 @Tiger2047 @Optus Yep. So there isn't actually a 'contract' - which is both great meaning you can leave at any time without paying a stupid penalty - and not great when they can change plans and prices as they like with at least 30 days notice

@Optus families are struggling to afford rent, food, and utilities. I hope you wisely rescind your email, it’s a bad time to be asking anyone for extra money… Especially when CEO of Optus Kelly has such an exorbitant paycheque to afford the Vaucluse lifestyle? Huh 🤔

@vicrollison @_annamurdoch good on you! I get it and wow, if they are following Telstra, thats an issue. but we Should try and call them out, even when Optus had an award winning profit 2021 - 2022 financial year. **** optus. and **** telstra if they do the same!

@Tiger2047 @SulloAU @Optus The 'contract' says they can make changes with at least 30 days notice - and that you can cancel at anytime - that's what you agreed to. You can't find yourself locked into paying $49 one month and $89 the next - you can leave at any time
