Main Roads WA (@Perth_Traffic) reportedBEHIND THE SCENES Before, during and after every AFL match at Optus Stadium, the Main Roads’ events team work with many stakeholders to provide a safe passage for vehicle and foot traffic to and from the game. They do this by closing off certain roads, checking in with traffic management, the Real Time Traffic Operations Centre and the stadium events team to make sure all elements are in place and ready to play their part. If there are any issues that occur, they are first to reach out on communication channels to make sure it’s handled effectively and efficiently. Even down to the pointy end making sure no unauthorised vehicles are parked near areas that will affect the flow. #perthtraffic #optusstadium

Peter Colbert (@PeterJColbert) reported@optus_help Here is the kicker. I was there b/c my father has Parkinson and border line Dementia which Abu knew at 383 George St. Abu tried to get the attention of the manager who was with a customer along with another Optus colleague and he brushed Abu away without even acknowledging him. Being also brushed off angrily by the guy at World Trade Square (witnessed by another angry customer) and had not opened the store at required time only shows Optus has a serious cultural problem which I’m sure Ben Fordam at 2GB will find interesting tomorrow when I email him.

Leigh Eustace (@leigheustace) reported@adampaps How many home games down there vs. up the highway at Optus? Half half? All in Bunbury? I sense WA3 for the 20th team is a huge go, but the Bunbury market as a home base, convince me…

itsmevjnk (@itsmevjnk_alt) reported@maxxthum (But like Optus is just as bad anyway, I can barely get a signal on the XPT outside of stations)
-
Jordan Wardle (@JordanWardle5) reported@theinfradev @ruicharadrius I'm not revising history. The plan was fttp everywhere, with Telstra and optus copper being bought out to move them to the NBN. The copper was never going to be used for the NBN. Look at the Telstra definitive agreements from 2011.

Tano (@BalladOfGaetano) reported@TheRagingMackem I was with Optus for 10 years but only because I worked there. I've had far fewer issues with Vodafone.
-
Francis McF (@FrancisMcF1O) reportedRegional reality check: Telstra = service. Optus = maybe. Vodafone = forget it. If only one network works outside the cities, that’s not a market — that’s a monopoly.

glitch_sun (@glitchsun_) reportedJust had the worst customer experience in my life from @Optus It took 2+ hours of dealing with barely legible Indians passing me from department to department. The worst was the ‘Tech Support’ woman who didn’t even know what 5G+ was and had to look it up on the website.
