@Asher_Wolf Just spoke to someone at Optus Customer Relations about Passport renewals. They said that they are following @dfat advice that passports don’t need to be renewed so no reimbursement of renewal. Said if I wasn’t happy that Ombudsman was next step.

@StarDestr0yer Idiots. The worst criminals are those insecurely holding our information. Jail the jerks at Optus and Medibank Private and see them become vigilant.

@imhaxormad @Optus When NBN rolled out at my house they provisioned me from their cable service right back onto cable. I questioned it at the time and was told it was fine, then a new cable modem showed up. Ended up having to churn to another provider to get connected after 3 months of trying

My wife, an #optus and #medibank customer: "Burn Notice made this all look a lot harder than apparently it was." "MY NAME IS MICHAEL WESTEN.." "...yes, we know - we have your name, address, phone number, medicare number, medical history, drivers license, and passport details."

Hey Medicare Private, after you heard about the Optus hack including the data on ex-customers, did you delete your ex-customer private data like birthdays and ID's?

@savannahmeacham @9NewsAUS I just hope to god I don’t have to go into the local motor registry this weekend to get a new photo ID. Narrowly dodged the Optus breach as I haven’t been a customer with them for 2 yrs. Didn’t expect this to escalate but in cybersecurity anything can happen…

Optus now Medibank OVIOUSLY don't keep up with secure security. With the money they make u would think that they would have the best security service.
