@lizthegrey @Optus If you can bear the tedium, be sure to issue a separate chargeback for each infringement. Last I checked, the bank will charge a flat chargeback penalty PER item. And since [at least it used be] it's about $25... they're losing a LOT more than they changed you.l

@AUSFestivus Steps to repro: use my optus app, click new line, click eSim, choose a phone number, enter a payment card, then fail the validation, exit app, and come back to app, you'll be at square 0, and in 5 days you'll have a completed charge for 10 AUD rather than 0 AUD.

@Optus There’s nothing you can do now, just venting my frustrations and regretting my decision to come back to the network.

Word to the wise at @Optus : your email sign up form has an ID validation error whereby passport first and middle names need to be all entered in the first name field or it fails. Throw better errors or merge text before running validation. I got it to work by trial and error but

@shravaka @razorback11111 @Optus retail are absolutely disgusting. I was asked to leave a store in Melbourne a few weeks ago, because I challenged them when they asked me to produce a written exemption. The kicker was a couple of the employees were sitting around with their masks down. 😡😡

Congratulations Optus. You are now officially just as useless and pathetic as Telstra. Please, please, please … **** off and let a real company provide decent services. #Optus #Junk

Hey @Optus, I’ve been a customer again for a little over a month and your service sucks. My Optus app not working, having to re-visit the store I signed up at to solve account issues, incorrect information given by call centre staff and your new plan with “AutoPay” is terrible.

@Optus I’ve spent 4 hours of chat without a resolution
