@7NewsAustralia @Optus Wake up Australia. NSW Service and Centrelink have all had multiple cyber security breaches in the last 2 years. The same places that refuse cash purchases. This is no accident. Go digital free!

@Optus, I ported out of your service, yay! Your millionaire CEO will pay for my last bill. And please, if she is professional, her initials in the emails sent should have been her entire signature as I can copy her initials.

I'd hate to see #Optus go down in flames due to the #optusbreach . But the CEO needs to resign, they've been absolutely aweful in both their culture and how they've handled the situation.

Everyone I see sharing their “you got hacked bad” Optus texts also has HUNDREDS of unread text messages. How?? How does anyone have maybe more than 5 unread texts?

@JohnLutge Not just of Optus, of every company. They add zero value and do zero work. They leech off everyone below them but then blame them for mistakes instead of taking the responsibility they are being paid for. They are parasites which only cost value and never add.

@broncook76 I'm not stressed. I'm pissed off. Why ******** did it take so long to send the email? The whole thing is a massive **** up. I'll never be an optus customer again.

@7NewsBrisbane @Optus @JoelDry7 I wonder what they would do to these scumbag hackers if it happened in America or China or North Korea or Bali? Maybe jailed for life or worse!. This is Australia. THE SUCKER COUNTRY! Our leaders are crap and so are OPTUS. We have been easy pickings for yrs!I I curse you hackers!

@joshgnosis @tanharrison Josh, any chance of an explainer article on licence vs card and licence number? Ideally calling out whether we should be concerned in states like NSW where advice has been sent that because service NSW requires both, that replacement licences are not required for optus customers

@networkservice @TheEnbyperor Here in Aus that's for sure. Telstra (Which is ASX listed) is worlds better than Optus. Also I found Three to be **** when I lived there.

Looks like my husband and I weren't in the group of customers that had ID numbers leaked. I still don't feel comfortable staying on as an Optus customer. I've had issues with coverage and this is the last straw. I just need to get out of the device contract (12m+ left or $400)
