@LesStonehouse Faithful to Telstra for 40 years despite our blind loyalty not being reciprocated in quality of service or pricing. Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"

  • iB3nji
Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales

@blake_andersson @Telstra @Optus Go Boost Mobile! I’m with them. Same Telstra network, unlimited Apple Music, more data for less. Pre-paid.

  • petenowakowski
Pete Nowakowski (@petenowakowski) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales

@DanielNigro76 Yep. Parents house connected to Optus network.

    @mrdanielfeo @Optus @Telstra Agree, 1.5Mbps is terrible.

  • CavillJyckel
Jyckel C (@CavillJyckel) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales

@EdKent77 @Optus So hard to support from a distance, particularly when she’s distressed already.

  • Thought_Patrol
Thought Patrol (@Thought_Patrol) reported from Kiama, New South Wales

    Normal service resumed thanks @Optus

@LesStonehouse @Telstra @Optus Oh He's. It does seem older folk were totally neglected in all of this. No NBN no phone. Cutoffs before they were ready. Expectations they'd understand it all. Neighbour is nearly 90 and it's been awful trying to keep him connected. All on his own.

  • iB3nji
Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales

@Telstra_news “Telstra operate the nation’s only 5G network”. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure @Optus has 5G too.

  • petenowakowski
Pete Nowakowski (@petenowakowski) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales

@kirstinferguson @Optus My parents and I on Optus network. Mum got the txt, dad and I didn't.

@FranMooMoo If a business or a surface does not have a backup alternative to everything then they are the problem. Thanks have backup lines maybe Telstra with primary Tpg with a backup. Same with 000. Might have the primary line with Telstra and a backup line with Optus or a WhatsApp #

  • gav_mck
    Gavin McKenzie (@gav_mck) reported

@Telstra Telstra Doncaster failed and refused to help, I'll be lodging a complaint with the ombudsman in due course, duly note the outcome, you lost two decades long people to Optus, who were terrific in help.

  • carrygale
    carrygale (@carrygale) reported

@normboy562 It is not her fault that Telstra went down. It is not her fault that Optus went down a couple of years ago. It is her fault that she has done **** all in the years between those two outages to solve the problem of 000.

  • AICyberHome
    ColinRenouf (@AICyberHome) reported

@nswpolice A question. As modern phones support Sat for messages - mine switched to it - should we be pushing for configs that use Sat for 000 for these circumstances? This is a good time to push Telstra and Optus to look at it rather than fine them

  • westpointer88
    Adam (@westpointer88) reported

@benny_drew @7AFL Don't forget they lost to Gold Coast at Optus Oval in the finals last year by 1 point. They'll **** it up like they always do.

  • Thelandofark
    Arkers (@Thelandofark) reported

@matt_barrie @van00sa And Optus went down right after Albanese visited Beijing in July last year.

  • Philssay
    Question (@Philssay) reported

Hey paul...Labor promised they'd get to the bottom of the optus outage.. Any idea why they walked away from the problem and allowed it to happen again.

  • RaymondKeown3
    Raymond McKeown (@RaymondKeown3) reported

@TimjboAU I will be more than interested if this has been issues related to routers in call centres, and what was the country of origin, I did recommend long ago to Optus the reasoning for not using a certain China Telco provider. I wonder if history has repeated?

  • PlayAtArena
    ARENA 🇦🇺 (@PlayAtArena) reported

@HaveeSnowball Actually, the infrastructure and technical side is still handled locally, only the CS is off-shored, but if you looked at the Optus situation involving the numerous problems caused by Singtel, you'd know Telstra is in a much better position to deal with these problems.

  • GerardWilliam16

@reidallaboutit9 Problem is the grand final isn’t played at Optus stadium
