Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales@mrdanielfeo @Optus @Telstra Agree, 1.5Mbps is terrible.
-
💧🌱pragmaticleftie 🏴🇮🇪💔 (@roseannebyrne) reported from Kiama, New South Wales@LesStonehouse @Telstra @Optus Oh He's. It does seem older folk were totally neglected in all of this. No NBN no phone. Cutoffs before they were ready. Expectations they'd understand it all. Neighbour is nearly 90 and it's been awful trying to keep him connected. All on his own.
-
John Roach (@cambuslangtrain) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales@LesStonehouse Faithful to Telstra for 40 years despite our blind loyalty not being reciprocated in quality of service or pricing. Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"
-
Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Wollongong, New South Wales@blake_andersson @Telstra @Optus Go Boost Mobile! I’m with them. Same Telstra network, unlimited Apple Music, more data for less. Pre-paid.
Optus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Maranoa Girl (@GDixon1977) reported@adamliaw The exceptionally wealthy investors in Optus are too poor to compensate the suckers sorry clients who got ripped off in the hack. The investors invest only to make money not lose it. They outsource any loss or thought of a loss to the taxpayer.
-
Sharon Crerar (@Efrog1) reported@janine_hendry I’m an #Optus customer but haven’t heard from them at all.
-
Elizabeth Morgan (@elzbethmrgn) reported@RockliffTeam Thanks, my comment wasn't directed at you (although I wasn't clear). The lack of communication from Optus on this issue is infuriating.
-
Gale Arrick (@ArrickGale) reported@SlaterGordon Optus told me my details were safe when i saidni wanted my license number blackout @Optus. Lol.
-
Andy (@imandings) reported@AuzzieKing I'm assuming the AFP downloaded the data leak that was made. I don't think the Optus email went to all clients, as colleague #1 didn't get an email, but colleague #2 did. Crap communication by Optus either way.
-
Lindsay Carter (@Lindsay22808953) reported@Moffitt9210 @Optus You and how many millions. It's gone down. Hacked or overwhelmed????
-
chelle (@chelle_lezley) reportedBe part of the Dead Network. It starts with yes. No, Optus. 😑
-
Matt (@matt4w) reportedIf @Optus knows who had their data breached, surely @ServiceNSW can automatically re-issue drivers licenses...
-
RockliffTeamMedia (@RockliffTeam) reported@elzbethmrgn To receive a new licence number, Service Tasmania customers will be required to present evidence from Optus that they have been impacted by the data breach or sign a statutory declaration to state that their personal information was breached by the Optus data leak.

Jai 🇮🇳🇦🇺 (@sirgunner1886) reported@andrew_the_pom @kepthallowed @Optus I think that's a pre- issue message which they haven't reprogrammed. When you say booted off, is it literally kicking you out of the chat? Either way, the stores are still available for support and/or guidance.
