  @Marketintel_x @BrodyFord_ @business It’s crap. co-pilot’s worse performance is when you seek its assistance with other Microsoft software. You have better luck using Google to help with Microsoft Office 365 issues.

  @Office365 I've been dealing with repeated unauthorized sign-in attempts on my Microsoft account for months, despite changing my password, enabling 2FA, & forcing sign-outs. Support has been slow, repetitive, & unhelpful. need real assistance to stop these MFA spam attacks.

  @RihardJarc Half of its market value is office 365. So you can cut that segment in half, thus reducing its market cap by 25%. I think that segment's going to go down even more

  @mistressdivy Lots of problems with OneDrive but the problem is not OneDrive. It was Microsoft's demand that Windows 11 or Office 365(have not really dug in yet) defaults to your one drive. This causes problems.

  The bear case on Office 365 boils down to one thing: does Microsoft participate in the agent-facing side of data work? Right now most people talk to agents through a terminal or some stitched-together texting setup. If Microsoft makes Teams the place you talk to your agents and share work with them, they own the interface. That interface is the moat.

  My favorite feature of Word is "Read Aloud". I find many issues using this. But I wish it worked 100%. It's REALLY flaky and stops on its own so many times reading just one page. I have noticed when the text changes style, Read Aloud gets very flaky! @Office365 @office

  @ToddHagopian @Dream4Liberty @ChaseForLiberty They did not ask to spend $40k to tell them the system they built was broken instead of the $10k to fix it, lol. They did not ask Angela to hire Buchkovich so that there was no oversight, kill Burns' contract, then spend more than $100k killing the CiviCRM that money had just been spent on for Zoho, which is worse in every conceivable way. The destruction of everything that Moellman and Burns built happened at the end of 2023. Those IT costs listed are from the work to tear down Civi and Zoho, not the total IT costs. ONLY the intentionally doubled (because Angela, who never used Civi, decided it had to die) costs or TRIPLED costs (like with LPMail, Gmail, and Office365). I've been here 25 years, Todd. I watched what happened with the IS committee. You can be defensive about this, but you weren't the one being pointed at as a problem by Amanda or by me. You're taking facts personally, which isn't like you. Believe what you want.

  @Cryptos_Tales @anothercohen there's like 1200-1500 employees. some of those 30 are probably on medical or parental leave. some of the data might be broken/old laptops, some people may be using office365 from their personal machine...adding up those and all the other possible reasons, 30 is not much

  Assume low data rate and high ping. Now assume you're trying to log in to an Office 365 implementation of some sort. All that said, while astronauts are professionals, they're not IT pros and probably couldn't tell you the difference between outlook and an exchange server.

  ITS is aware there is an issue with users accessing Microsoft Office365 web services. Microsoft is aware that users are impacted & is working to resolve the issue. If you cannot access the web services, please use the desktop applications (Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.).

  @BadalK99277 No. Windows is only still relevant because of entrenchment. Active Directory, Windows Server, Office365, Azure, all are relevant only because of entrenchment. If all software that only runs on Windows could run on Linux, then there would be no need for Windows.

  Microsoft is starting to show up on deep value screens. This is not a broken company. This is not a melting ice cube. This is the most dominant software business ever built — Office, Azure, Teams, LinkedIn, GitHub, Copilot — and it is sitting significantly off its all time highs. The market spent three years pricing Microsoft as an AI winner at any price. Multiple expansion took valuation to levels that required flawless execution forever. When the AI trade started rolling over, Microsoft got caught in the wreckage — not because the business broke, but because the price was simply too high. Now the price is coming to the business. Azure growth is still compounding. Office 365 pricing power is intact. Free cash flow is a machine. The balance sheet is a fortress. Copilot monetization has barely started. This is what deep value in megacap tech looks like. It does not look like a disaster. It looks like a great business having a bad year in the market. The distinction matters enormously. Great business. Washed out price. The market is handing you an entry into the best software company on earth at a discount it has not offered in years.

  @FinanceDirCFO But rather "subprime AI", right? SaaS stocks go down because people don't get business, and think that Dropbox, LinkedIn, Spotify, Office 365, Slack, Netflix, Instagram etc. will go out of business simply because "anyone can vibe code their own version".

  @umarsaif They won't get a chance to become "real". The issue is AI Agents are removing the need for abstraction, UI and unwanted code layers. Entire office suite is now useless. Forget about office 365. Mails, comm channels will survive for sometime. Where Indian IT will contribute?

  Loading a 2.6mb excel file: * Default chrome plugin on chromebook: unbearably slow. * Office365: faster, but weird placeholder icons. * sheets: fast. (Heard that recent changes will speed office up and remove the progress loading icons.)

  Agentic troubleshooting report: Tricky office 365 installation issue due to, unbeknownst to me, an unmounted drive. Claude code with Opus 4.7 max tried for an hour, failed to find cause. Codex with gpt 5.5 xhigh found cause and fixed the issue in 10 minutes!

  This is insane, frustrating, and, frankly, pathetic on Microsoft's part! I am a law firm, trying to buy a Microsoft Copilot Business license. Just one $30 license for the law firm. Nope. Blocked. It's not available to my account on Office 365 Markeplace, inside my Admin account [I am the global admin] and the block seems to be due to some technical issue between MOSA and MCA accounts. I have business premium subscriptions. They are making it DIFFICULT to BUY their already market-trailing AI. Maybe I should just spend all the law firm's money on ANTHROPIC. Mircosoft, get your **** together! @Office @Copilot

  @Diss0lution For many years now, the Office 365 installer is broken in French, instead of showing something like "90% complété" in the system notification icon, it says "90lformat error! complété" - incorrectly parsing the percent sign as a parameter. Trillon dollars company at work.

  @yonann partly true. I work corp IT. A good part of my users whould be fine with a chromebook. All there work in in office365 and chrome. and this year our standard low spec model we issue increased in price 50%.

  @yonann partly true. I work corp IT. A good part of my users whould be fine with a snapdragon chromebook. But they get tier Ryzen 9 or I7 . All their work in in office365 and chrome. and this year our standard low spec model we issue increased in price 50%.

  Let's put some "customer" information in here, so you have a better perspective. First, most of us who live in cyber security world avoid Edge like the plague. It is malware gangrene. You have designed it so that it digs in to every piece of our system, gathering our information, and we can't configure it to stay out. Security concerns. Let's add another problem, which is creating problems in daily operations: Office 365 has been designed in a way that prevents us from normal functions that we valued highly in Office Professional 2016, which was your cleanest, most professional WORKING version. Fast, efficient, and without the intrusions of 'phone' children processing. The new O365 is the least professional of all the versions you have 'improved.' I don't care about you tracking my daily work, giving me a 'viva report.' In fact, I want that deleted. There are so many bugs in O365, such as synching issues, wherein entire strings of emails disappear from the in box if I use a different device to respond to a Customer. There is a LONG list of 'improvements' you force in during updates that are actually damaging to work flow. Further, trying to force us into the NEW outlook is enraging. We keep using the "classic" to survive all your bugs and bad screen layouts, and the lack of controls your new version has imposed, and it keeps flipping back. SOOOOO many things we all hate about O365 and you do nothing to fix them. YOU have decided how we should do business. These childish relabeling and moving episodes of commands does not improve your product. Example: There was a function that allowed me to open an email, search 'all related emails' and find an older piece of the conversation. That's gone. Why? Many of the admin functions in settings are simply gone. Same with the new Windows. When I go research in various communities, MANY humans have the same complaints. Everyone hates the new versions of both products. SOME OF US are required to work offline, we do not work in your clouds. We have to have everything on the computer unit to travel without cloud access. You have made that a major problem. Do yourself a favor. If you want us to actually LIKE you, instead of hate you all day, take a survey here. Ask everyone what they miss about the old product, just start with 2016 Office Professional, and ask what they hate about O365. Ask about security problems, ask about the sentiment regarding Edge being forced on us, without the ability to uninstall it. Learn this: We are paying your salary. Learn this: We are all unhappy with the current product. Millions of us are heavy-use professionals that need the cleaner version. The current online version is even worse than that desktop app. Learn this: 2016, literally, was the last clean version you produced/coded. Once you went all SAS and cloud sales focused, you trashed a great product. Maybe have a team researching all the public comments and problems.

  @EvanOwen @tmnxeq @RhoRider I get where you are coming from. It does help *if implemented well*, just like any other software or process. It is way to early to judge effectiveness since most of the businesses are just having people use ChatGPT for random stuff and using copilot in office 365. When I did software consulting many clients would tell me they were “in the cloud” when all they meant is they have office 365 subs and a terrible sharepoint inplementation. AI is the same way. It will be several *years* before AI is used effectively in enterprise scenarios.

  Noticed Microsoft is still shoving stuff down our throats. I have Office 365 without the AI stuff, and noticed the app now has a diamond in the top right corner on apps which is where they push to you AI upgrades.. Just give me the app without all the extra pushed crap.
