Can confirm the issue affects the Office 365 Admin Shell, and Sharepoint Online. Seems to be back up now though.

The college has received notification of a widespread outage of Microsoft Office 365. This outage may prevent access to most MS Office 365 services, including college email. Students should check Online Campus for any messages from their instructors.

@galuade_ it was access to the myapps portal that was broken, as well as access to anything that would have benefited from it (such as office 365 applications like teams or outlook), third party apps that use azure SSO, etc etc even xbox live had an outage today lol

The outage seems over. Normal authentication patterns have resumed and users (including me) can connect to #Office365 apps like #MicrosoftTeams. Phew!

@KuangEleven Customer support for Zoom, install zoom, tell them to click the links hosts send them. If needs be register an account using their email. Done Customer support for Teams, install Teams, sign in, discover not using Office365, setup a hotmail account, deal with monthly not working

@verge I couldn't do anything for the last hour and a half of work today. My company uses Office 365 for everything, so no access to docs, no email, no Citrix receiver, since that uses my 365 info! I thought it was a password problem, but no 🙁

@12Knocksinna @Office365 When this outage happened in September, I was of the “oh well, mistakes can happen even at major corporations” mindset. With this one appearing to have a similar cause, I am no longer so forgiving. It’s hard to fathom how Microsoft’s change management process could be so lacking.
