I don't even know what I did before @playnewworld When the servers go down I just sit in a corner and cry bc my life is completely over for a few hours. Why don't they invent some sort of streaming service or other forms of entertainment or the ability to walk..

@playnewworld Honestly, this bs about the world maintenance all at once is the worst decision you've made. Not acceptable for a company such as Amazon. Not to mention the fact that you're always extending the already long downtime. Also EU is always harmed by these problems.

@DadSidekick @playnewworld They have windows and it didn't work out?! Gotta be the planning and not unexpected issues.... No. It really isn't bad planning. If it was, it would be more than just 2 of the 5 server hubs down. All of them would be down because they'd all be having the same exact issues.

@SuperMeatMan_ @kozejin @playnewworld If an update starts at 3am and takes 5 hours, that means at 8am the update is complete. If everyone is showing up to work and the update somehow crashes the game the workers have their WHOLE shift to fix it. If they started an update at 9am, everyone is leaving by the end.

@MikeK33545520 @playnewworld That would be a mistake, this game is legit. if you don't have basic patience and understanding of maintenance then most mmos will not work for you. This game was releases with very little issues and is a blast to play.

@playnewworld Come on this is absolutely ridiculous, you bring the servers down in the middle of the day for EU, for 5 hours, and then extend it, for a tiny patch? Clearly prioritising US player base. You could do EU and US on a different day, both in the middle of the night, e.g. 3am to 8am.

@Pyr0m4st3r @playnewworld If you have more to do thats great for you, that is not true for most people that enjoy PvE. No being able to do 65 portals means you cant craft dungeon keys (Genesis and Lazarus). Dont assume things, just because you are ok with things being broken doesnt mean others have to.

@IncantusX @skywalkergz @playnewworld fanboy spotted. We want to play new world too, but we are stuck looking at login screen because they can't get their maintenance done on time and only seem to be able to do it in the middle of the day rather than during the night.

@MrSamwl @playnewworld Guess you never played @Warcraft, I used to wake up at 6am pst with servers down, come home from work at 4pm servers still down and this happened every Tuesday for years. Wasn't till past few years they didn't need to do weekly maintenance, now its 15 min rolling restarts.

Guy implied global downtime should be down at nigth time, the problem is for it to be done at night time everywhere it has to be regional. I would also assume the ones doing night shift maintenance actually woke up for work in the afternoon.
