I thought maybe they would have shut it down years ago but to release this huge new update and make a solid effort to fix a lot of the issues with the game only to rugpull everyone is baffling.

The engine the devs were forced the use was a mess of spaghetti code (which is what caused a significant number of the bugs and issues) and they had Amazon execs stifling every creative choice they wanted to make in the name of maximising profit. Many, many things were mishandled throughout this game's life, and there is a whole lot of things that could and should've been better, but I'll die on the hill that the core dev team - the creatives, vfx artists, etc and the developers, system/mechanics/combat designers etc, were not the issue.

VERY frustrating for the playerbase
