I thought maybe they would have shut it down years ago but to release this huge new update and make a solid effort to fix a lot of the issues with the game only to rugpull everyone is baffling.

Didn’t even get to try all the content yet, and then out of nowhere AGS goes, “Surprise! This is the final season!” 😑

The servers lag when there's a world boss in a zone, the customer support is literally chatgpt, the story was terrible or boring for years, so the endgame progression and collections are the only real reasons it's still going.

Then comes along AI which will fix absolutely nothing but is CHEAP and there you go. Suits see money money money.

Seebs (@seebsuu) reported@hammerify @LSXYZ9 @playnewworld All of this is so untrue haha. It’s an MMO, and comparatively, the grind was not bad at all. And if you were in an opposing faction territory…. Just go to one of your own if it’s that bad. I never had an issue of getting killed on repeat.

Some DEV company just needs to see if they can buy New World. I figured this was coming once they decided to rebrand Prime Gaming and I am afraid more changes will be coming, soon.

The game had its issues, but for me personally it was a perfect blend of everything I enjoy about an MMO and was really laid back. I’ve never been a min/maxed or hardcore PvP player though and I noticed most people that I saw complaining were hardcore PvP driven and the type to rush through content and then complain there wasn’t any.

I'm sure that was the plan since you've removed the game for purchase and are completely shutting the servers down, right? Only right that you do so. Do the right thing, not the profitable one.
