Either they give the community the ability to host their own servers or they give their money back, just accepting that companies can take **** off you whenever they run into financial trouble is insane.

RespawnX (@XRespawn1) reported@playnewworld For us aussies Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), digital games must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description/promises (e.g., ongoing live-service MMO).If a shutdown makes it unfit/unplayable contrary to what was promised, it's a potential major failure → entitling refund/replacement (overrides "no refund" policies).

Then comes along AI which will fix absolutely nothing but is CHEAP and there you go. Suits see money money money.

There are other games that function this way as well. The problem is that they botched the launch and damaged their image. Which I may add is the most important problem.

Yhanabow (@culturecomplain) reported@LSXYZ9 @playnewworld Was also one of if not the most buggy game ever released sadly. Absolutely riddled with game breaking issues for a long long long time. Dead on arrival. One of the rare instances where the lay offs are fair given their performance.
