  @Spike_Spiegel28 @playnewworld It's a Tuesday morning in Europe. I would hazard the guess that >75% of the playerbase is at work and can't play right now. In 8 hours, when people had dinner - US players have their own servers and the same problem occurs, now with "legitimate" EU-players.

  @RobertDevious @playnewworld Yea could be the case...though if other regions would not have flooded the EU servers, it would have been a lot smoother. I guess they did not want to deal with multiple issues on the different region's servers at the same time, which is better.

  @Real_Farming @playnewworld And they don't scale well because they were meant to scale for the load that would be put on them from all the european players. They were NOT to scale for the a majority of the rest of the world. So yeah not having a global launch is still the problem.

  @Porcupine111 @playnewworld They only had 4 starts before. Couldn't imagine that by changing nothing about the login process.... nothing would change.

  @Spike_Spiegel28 @playnewworld Which isn't the problem. The servers don't seem to scale well at all. If they did, this behaviour would be a non-issue.

  @playnewworld What options is there to change realm later? A issue I see on my EU realm is that player base "claim" it as a dutch server. personally it doesn't matter atm, but if it becomes a problem I don't rly want to stay here as I'm not dutch.

  @Real_Farming @playnewworld While there maybe some problems I don't think that they will be anywhere near as severe as they are now. The bigger problem european players will face is prolly finding a at least somewhat decent name for their chars because a lot of them gonna be taken.

  @playnewworld You guys did 2 beta. It is clear how much the game has been played in beta and how many copies it has sold. Maybe fix the game/server rather promoting influencers and some ****** cosplays ?

But my point is, even though that is happening, if a queue lenght is 10k and it's a problem, then this means they have not learned how to MMO. Meanwhile other MMOs launch with several hundred thousand unexpected players and you wait 10 minutes.

  @fleshfurnace @XaryenMaelstrom @playnewworld It would require them to learn from other's mistakes. And they just didn't. Not only that, they didn't seem to learn from their own either. Because even in beta, the login process was dodgy.
