    Still at a loss for words over what #amazon did to #playnewworld. I thought maybe they would have shut it down years ago but to release this huge new update and make a solid effort to fix a lot of the issues with the game only to rugpull everyone is baffling.

    @playnewworld and @amazongames, I believe I speak for every #NewWorld player when I say, ADD MORE SERVERS AND FIX THE QUEUES! US West is a constant 2k queue ALL DAY. Server Queues on US East are RIDICULOUS. Longest one I was in was 8k for US East Valhalla >_>;... @YaBoiWiilly BRO

    Amazon is going to pay a long term price for shutting down New World @playnewworld - Not just one game, its a long term broken promise. You take money as people build up their accounts, then abandon them. Forget @playtlgame - People will quit/avoid that too. Forget future games.

    @SometimesClutch @ShultsyPlays @playnewworld Not correct. Guild Wars 2 doesn’t have a sub and is still running. There are other games that function this way as well. The problem is that they botched the launch and damaged their image. Which I may add is the most important problem.

    @lDkayyl @towelthetank @playnewworld That's the problem that he doesn't want to acknowledge. He's virtue signaling to sign petitions and "show amazon we want New World" but then is on WoW streaming instead. This is the new Culturally trendy thing that gets eyes on him but not on the real issue.

    @Sensiblelogic06 @S_Berry_82 @playnewworld Again. Player retention was not an issue for the game to operate, as Amazon was fine operating the game with an average of 8-10k for 3-4 years. It's not like they were expected to have 1 MILLION players for 5 years.

    @StevenJSharif @amazongames @playnewworld New World is my favorite MMO of all time. After the first major updates a lot of launch problems were fixed and it became the best MMO that kept getting better but wasn't given a second chance

    @playnewworld Honestly you had a great game, could have kept it going if you adjusted the monetization model. Live service games always have me worried about bug companies just walking away.

    @playnewworld Seems to be the new trend now with "online service only" games. Remember that all of the money you spend on these games has a 100% guarantee that when the game inevitably DOES SHUT DOWN... you not only lose your time but ALL of the money you invested in the game. 🤑

    @NWGameStatus No fix for Jester not coming down after a reset/wipe. And you have to leave the raid and restart the instance, and you have to kill the beginning adds again. I'm not sure if you all know, but the fix you guys did was not working at all. Needs to be fixed! @playnewworld

    @vobic13 @playnewworld Clearly it was already in the works, and almost finished anyway. What's your problem with the devs wanting to honor the customers one last time, despite being laid off? Stop with the clown logic.

    @S_Berry_82 @playnewworld You're not understanding that even if they had 10x more players, Amazon would have pulled it anyways. This is not a "game bad" problem.

    @playnewworld the game should remain online. without updates, patchs, fixes anything. maybe gm service's but from volunteers. under staff management. this is why the "stop killing games" started. new world IS a good game. just no one listened to feed back and did anything. (so it felt.)

    @playnewworld I can handle the fact that there are queues on the server and I think it's great the game is popular again, but what I can't deal with is queuing from 6k+ (3+hrs) down to 1st position, only to be sent to the back of the queue!! Please fix this ****!!!!

    @g0urra @npcsolananews @playnewworld Ive tried 3 times, only have 7 hours, i understand the 2 hour refund thing for steam but I had ever intention on playing the game more in till they announced the sudden halt in the game development and shutting the servers down in 2026

    @playnewworld That part of steam that we buy a license for the game Works on here more then It shouldnt. I paid for a game that i will not be able to play anymore If i Want to in the Future. And the issue is that its not steam fault. Hope it comes with some lawsuits to this.

    @playnewworld needs to fix gear. its wild that every single gear piece you get from the Halloween event has Fire Harnessing basically meaning all the gear we get is useless for most players.

    @playnewworld I think the subscription model is the way forward for MMOs. The way this game was monetized was very fair to the consumer, but not sustainable in the eyes of money hungry amazon. Creating and maintaining a live service MMO is a money pit and new world wasn’t bring in the $$$.
