@playnewworld getting "Steam must be running to play this game" error on startup, unrecoverable. Opted out of steam beta, same issue. Uninstall and reinstall, same issue. I was able to play yesterday, what gives?

VERY FUN I cant launch @playnewworld because it comes up with an unrecoverable error saying steam must be running and singed in to launch the game even tho i'm signed in and launcher is up

@playnewworld You guys have a huge issue right now tons of people can't connect. There is an error that says you need steam running when it already is. Then people use remedies to that issue and they can't connect to the server. PLEASE FIX!

@playnewworld just letting you know EAC is flagging steam dlls as untrusted. Can’t login to the game because it requires steam, can’t run steam because EAC :(

@playnewworld I sit through a queue of 400+ to get into my server (which was lowest pop on launch day) only to crash out 15 minutes later and get put to the back of the queue. I really don't understand.

@playnewworld hello I just got home and I find this error Unable to launch game crash to "unrecoverable error" and Easy Anti-Cheat, I go to the forum and I find that there are some people with the same problems and we cannot play, please release a patch or read the forum, thanks.

@playnewworld Hi! I keep receiving an error when i try to log-in the game, already tried to reboot, reinstall the game and steam but without success. This started today after a steam update. Just with New World other games are fine. 😓

@playnewworld I think a massive bug hit the game. I'm seeing tons of people unable to launch do to the following error. "Unrecoverable Error, you must be logged in to steam to play." This is followed by easy-anticheat saying a Steam .dll is untrusted.
