Starlink is 20ms-40ms+ latency like mobile garbage is. NBN is a whopping 600ms latency. They need to keep this junk away from fibre areas where I get 2ms latency and have had since 2022.

purana (@purana) reportedIt's bad enough that I assume NBN co called my mother to offer an FTTP upgrade, which is not even possible because the address has an MDU which is not FTTP ready. Like I said, I don't think the people doing the work have any idea what they are doing. Disappointing.

But now we are going to waste more money trying for peak retard. Putting up a 3rd rate satellite network with a bloke who rockets blow up before launch. Typical labor.

Bernard (@bernardsjansen) reported@TopherField I've been a happy Starlink customer for years, because the NBN was unable to get reliable internet to my house. Each month Elon gets my money, and I get reliable high speed internet. Each month, we are both better off.
