Rolly polly (@Rolly50Hundred) reported@B_e_n_n_y @r0ck3t23 It’s already obsolete. If you have decent 5G it’s light years ahead of NBN. Most cities don’t have proper 5G though. They think they do but it’s awful pretty much everywhere except Gold Coast.

Kevin Metcalfe (@KevinMe49077436) reported@TheLucidyn @Batman2242 No, it was a very bad idea, the original OPAL idea was excellent, a public private partnership to lift rural speeds up to that of the cities and was costed at about $4 billion. Rudd screwed that up with massive mission creep and created the NBN.

Not for you (@bcg1976) reported@BilsonhBilson The public can buy it if they want. It's a public company. I wouldn't with starlink cellular about tk come online. Just like I wouldn't have bought it's copper network off it for the NBN. How has that public turkey worked out?

Max Revelation (@MaximilPlan3t) reported@GregNordo @AllBiteNoBark88 I just had another go with Optus. Literally no internet during peak hrs. Their NBN is unbelievably bad, even my business plan was dropping out 20 times a day. Aldi it is.....

Andrea (@1963amh) reported@SharkaByrne @newscomauHQ I paid extra to keep it at the time, so it would be accessible when nbn goes down. Or so I thought. Not sure what I paid extra for ( possibly another outlet )but it didn’t work, totally useless when it’s down. So much for progress.

Alastair Taylor (@tayser82) reported@OperationalInc1 Whenever the NBN low-earth orbit satelitte service kicks off (Amazon's burgeoning network), the backup should switch to that. Aside from some parts of inner Perth/Melb/Syd/Bris, all of the rail network is on the surface and will be able to uplink, I would have thought.

Labour are eyeing that off, I wonder if they’ve already broken into it. Rather than just paying into it, they bought out NDIS, Nbn, all these other green BS things.

purana (@purana) reported@NBN_Australia still cannot connect a NBN service to my mothers location. Yet it says in website its serviced by FTTN, but here we are 6+ months (3 retail providers) and still cannot get a service. They blame construction, but what happened to project planning before that :)
