The issue being that recent firmware versions are (supposedly) FTTC NBN compatible, but the original version isn't. So I had to download the firmware update to phone via 4G, & am now transfering it to laptop over Bluetooth so can then upload to the router via WiFi...

@peterp79 @Aussie_BB @Telstra @NBN_Australia Also, 25 is minimum - so you should be getting 22 ish... plug a laptop INTO the modem and do a speed test. WIFI is probably what’s slowing you down too

@trevorlong To be fair, they had to offer 40% additional CVC bandwidth, and streaming providers have cut the visual quality of their product to help the NBN cope. Whilst a lot of the problems with the NBN are not actually @NBN_Australia's fault, they do get a lot wrong.

@NBN_Australia Hey @VodafoneAU we are down with internet for the past two days. .and trying to reach your customer service for he past two days with no real outcome.have been on call for 3 hours with no one attending our call.stresses us out as we cant work from home.

@NBN_Australia There is no planned outage in this area. The internet stopped working at 10pm last night and despite of sending several messages on Telstra App, no one has responded back. I m currently over the phone with Telstra for last 15 minutes and still in the waiting queue 😡

My @NBN_Australia HFC service is down. Fault logged with my RSP (@Aussie_BB). I wonder if nbn will book "planned maintenance" again to fix the fault - it conveniently stops the "unplanned outage" timer when they do that...

@funimation_anz Did funimation not get to use the AnimeLab servers or something. Why is the funimation connection worse than anything else, it's worse than Nintendos online service, it's painfully slow. My internet is good, I have NBN, why do I have to deal with this!

@Ballyurra I watched Vera. On OUR ABC. Then had a lovely chat to my Scottish frinend. Enjoying the opportunities of the internet, even if it's LNP poor quality NBN. Vera of course won the ratings not that poorly scripted, cast, & acted show on that other chanel.

2 years after the black summer fires showed how terrible our communication network was on the NSW South Coast we still have no phone reception in most places. Built up areas lucky to get 3G and no NBN. So frustrating.
