  Superloop is the 3rd RSP. Let's see if I can get more details out of them tomorrow on what path/route of the FTTN is a problem. NBN co seriously can't manage a raffle in a pub.

  @BiteSizedMediaX The Howard Costello government also left a future fund which is something like $240 billion now. Labour are eyeing that off, I wonder if they’ve already broken into it. Rather than just paying into it, they bought out NDIS, Nbn, all these other green BS things.

  @scottjla @johannesmkx Uk hasn’t got as many isolated farms etc as Australia or US but I understand from friends there is similar higher speed internet access as Australia suffered with slow install of NBN and minimal systems Back in 2021/2 when Starlink was not providing many services in UK - govt removing authorisation would not have caused major outcry but the number of services today would cause huge outcry if authorisation were removed. Also mobile Starlink is very common now. The acceptance of authorisation is part of SPCX now and impact investors - technically I suspect uk govt can’t do anything other than order removal and whether the company has offices in uk will be relevant to service provision and funding for infringements Elon is VERY protective of children’s rights so expect him to express views on how this needs implementing. His stance against Starmer goes back to when he ed public prosecutor and didn’t protect children and girls against gangs.

  @Telstra well done. In an unprecedented occurrence after more than 40 years as a customer, Telstra staff - part of the transition team from ADSL to NBN - have, after a series of missteps, done everything single thing they promised to do yesterday. Thank you.

  @ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder The NBN cannot do it now, but the optic fibres it uses can. Only the gear at either end changes. There is not a wireless system in existence that could carry the existing load of the NBN, let alone future needs. Talk to a network engineer, please.

  Our NBN is on the fritz so our ISP has thrown us back to 4G. My med prescriptions have somehow been ballsed up. The $160 monitor we had to get for our cat isn't working. It never ends. Why is it so hard? And I wonder, why can't anyone just do their jobs competently any more?

  @taipan168 Many corporatised, but publicly owned, entities provide great service. NBN is pretty good for example. Even Australia Post isn’t bad. Govt doesn’t have to equal bad and is much more preferable in monopoly and quasi-monopoly environments.
