Hey @Telstra I waited in line for 45 mins to get my internet working and the line dropped or the agent hung up. This is ridiculous now I have to call again and do this during working hours ! Your NBN service has been down since morning.

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia And now NBN Co are offering free FTTP installs to anyone who will pay for a high speed (250+) connection. Bad luck for all those people like you that already paid thousands to get FTTP installed. Hope they can give you a refund!

Trying to figure out how @Telstra omitted to direct debit my NBN bill for 6 months and now expect me to pay $500 in one month after a mistake that wasn't mine. Got a text stating they will cut my service. Should have stayed with Optus, never happened with them.

@threezyb @hexsteph @NBN_Australia I feel you. I edit 4K footage from home occasionally on my shitty FTTN connection that gets max 33 down. Almost makes me want to move back into the bad neighbourhood nearby that had FTTP.

@nightkhaos @hexsteph @NBN_Australia They are the only ones who can install the cable. I changed to TPG straight away once it was installed. The issue wasn’t with starting the service, it was the installation.

@sharitags @RollingStone I still believe that had we had something trusted like the BBC's Click, we'd have been better informed about the need for the NBN and would've universally embraced it. Instead we got rubbish reporting and that allowed it to be watered down.

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia The NBN is absolute dog **** imo, it's a good idea but excited so poorly 3rd party companies do better. Not to mention that the rates they stated, I rarely even get. They should do more work behind the scenes so that Australia can have some compareable internet to other places

The halt on new NBN connections over HFC is largely due to circumstances beyond NBN's control -- a global hardware shortage -- but this situation could and *should* have been managed a lot better. Currently, people caught out are being given few options and little help.

@BelongAU internet has been down for over an hour, my app is also having issues. Nbn is fine. Registered a call but no-one responding. Can you help ?

Jen Dudley-Nicholson (@jendudley) reported
@GordyPls I do. It's in the story. And NBN has known about shortages since December. People who move homes or try to connect now are being given no options because often legacy connections have been shut down and there's no mobile packages designed for them.
