Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia
@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

I’d also like to thank the @iiNet support staff out of whom I had to drag every last detail about how the @NBN_Australia fault investigation process would proceed.

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@shibz_1989 @DeadlineDavis @LachlanLachlang @McTez I’m on the NBN 100 and get 93 down and 35 up consistently.

Gavin Staveley 🇳🇿 (@GavinStaveley) reported
@healy_mike9782 @leggylinky @FranMooMoo It is possible for NBN & cellular service providers to integrate a lot of parental controls (including content firewalling) which is already being done by network security appliances in the corporate world.

Michele A. Barard (@mabnola) reported
So the NBN connected to your home but it’s not quite fast enough. Upgrading to a faster speed might be one solution, it’s an ongoing cost & might not fix it. The best way to fix it is to reduce the number of devices using the wifi. What we recommend is extra NBN wall sockets.

I got a letter from nbn co. They’re spruiking fibre to the home, that thing we could’ve had but for Abbott & Turnbull. They say they’ve identified that my existing connection “is not working as well as we’d like it” Does that mean it’s not fit for purpose? Trade Practices Act?

@LiquidE98 @Aaronsmith333 You mean the labor party killed the locaucar industry. The NBN was already garbage to begin with.

Andrew Godman (@Andrew_Godman) reported
@loftwah I did get to watch the nbn tech fuse fibres back once he worked out wtf cable was going where. That was kinda cool

@NBN_Australia you've been around for 16 years and still the reliability of the NBN is ****. Who ever is leading this needs to get fired. Constant drop outs. And no it's not my hardware or my premise. You have piss poor infrastructure that should have all been fibre years ago.

Mike Kennedy (@MikeKennedy1906) reported
But @Telstra said that if there was further vandalism on the w/end (v. likely given location) and a Telstra customer called about no phone service on Monday, it would be “within policy” for Telstra to pass info on to @NBN. 😜😜

Conor Oseaghdha 🇦🇺 (@soronoc) reported
I upgraded my internet to a new fancy NBN plan which ended 8 years of unbroken service. I finally got internet after being disconnected since the 9th of July. Without internet my apartment has no communication to the outside world, it's been a blessing and a curse.

The NDIS was squarely and solely a Rudd concept. Legislation was introduced under Gillard's government. Just like the shameful waste that is the NBN, the NDIS is a financial grenade delivered by ALP. Check up copperstring project Qld for yet another stupid idea wasting tens of billions
