I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

Update! Still no resolution from @Optus. What a shock. Still being asked the same questions. Having to provide proof (which I’ve done 3 times). If they ask one more time for me to check my house/garage/cupboards for this nbn box I’ll scream

@libbrynolf Live Australia. Only way get NBN connection fixed was contact Ombudsman. Did this twice for 2 different issues with one of our top 2 providers. They have to respond or breach license. Now have changed provider, costs waived. Advise contact ombudsman sooner.

at home and our phones are connected to nbn. We do risk reduction mitigation by having our backup mobile and nbn on Dodo. Any carrier that tells you they have no downtime is a carrier I would not use. Actually mobiles are impacted by so many environmental issues.

@JackieHansard I’m afraid Labor has nothing to hang its hat on. Whitlam thrown out for dodgy dealings. Hawke totally disrespected his wife. Keating gave us 18% interest rates. Rudds NBN was never going to work.NDIS is a massive impost on the budget because it’s open to rorting. Now Albanese 🙄

@DaleHof1234 @ChattyCathyAU Reverse for me. The NBN is the most unreliable internet I have ever used in Australia. It goes down almost daily and I reach lightening speeds well below 5 mbs.

@NBN_Australia Doesn't explain why you used sub-par fibre compared to the rest of the world, why you've done things twice (fixed wireless then maybe fibre later) and then crap like HFC to low income areas. Not your fault obviously but the rest of the world laughs at our phone/internet speeds

@normal_andy I’d been having bulk issues. But only while connecting via nbn (Optus). Once I flipped it to mobile data, it seemed to be fine…
