Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@JaneCaro @Telstra The whole nbn is a joke, mate who works for them told me ours will never be any good because the copper goes thru a flooded pit at the end of our street.
-
hall 🇹🇼 (@pretzelssign) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@NBN_Australia that’d be great if every day from 2pm-11pm the wifi wasn’t so unbearably slow that I can’t even load a webpage. I went to South Korea and it really gave a perspective as to how horrifyingly slow NBN is
-
Aaron Scott (@wifidownunder) reported from Newcastle, New South WalesAnother 12hr outage from @telstra NBN. This is ridiculous. Maybe at some point I’ll have internet again.
-
Owen Mansfield (@MansfieldOwen) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Optus Worst service I’ve ever recommend. Have been trying to connect NBN. No one in your call centres seem to know what to do.
-
Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@NBN_Australia It is not a fault. It is a NBN design issue. If a house is 1.2km in cable length from a Node, can they expect 80mb or more in connection speed. Very simple yes/no answer is all that is required.
-
Craig Gedye (@DrCraigGedye) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Internode once again our @NBN_Australia connection is out because it has rained. Please fix the physical connection to our house. It is NOT a problem in our house. It is a problem with your ancient corroded copper network. Please repair immediately.
-
Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@DuhigLisa @NBN_Australia @Telstra I actually love having the business run from hone. Been doing it for years and have a dedicated office. Constant issues with the NBN though really hurt and you are powerless to do anything. Into day 2 of no work, about to head to Telstra.

Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@exetel @chuggins9000 @NBN_Australia Thanks Rehan, but it is not an Exetel problem, all my neighbours have the same problem. NBN Co decided not to deluver high speed internet infrastucture to our Adamstown Heights area.

Ian Booth (@ian_booth) reported from Newcastle, New South WalesFarrrrrrkk! When Fifield is questioned about the price of #NBN packages the best he can come up with is "they would cost more under Labor". It just rolls off their tongue so easily. "Take longer under Labor ", "cost more under Labor" and they're never questioned. Shits me.
-
Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, New South Wales@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action
-

pigways (@pigways) reported@Batman2242 Much worse. Starlink is an infinely better service; higher speeds, low latency. NBN satellite cross subsidy alone is more than a starlink subscription. NBN satellites are EOL, they've contracted Amazon's Kuiper for replacement rather than proven starlink 🤪 They hate Elon
-
Andrew Godman (@Andrew_Godman) reported@fjzeit And to think Labor just wanted to build this for the same cost the Libs spend 😜 I won’t forgive them given I had really bad non nbn internet during the start of Covid while I had to work from home
-
Doug (@Doug39270057204) reported@Batman2242 And starlink actually works. Our nbn connection is garbage.
-
