@PeterCastieau @mrjoeaston @chriskkenny @MrKRudd @TurnbullMalcolm Yet, the #NBN remains the most important piece of national infrastructure, which is why we need a bipartisan plan to fix the the bloody thing ASAP. #BetterBroadband

  • radicalseven2 Rebecca Davies AO (@radicalseven2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Good discussion on @ABCthedrum @MingYLong about @NBN_Australia . Initial installation at my place in December 18, but signal no good, so they come back week after next. Not confident and costing more....

  • DigitalMediaBoy Carrington Brigham (@DigitalMediaBoy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Don’t go with @Optus for NBN it takes them 30+ days just to relocate you in the same building. Isn’t that awesome service. Think it’s a case of them being too big too care about their consumers these days.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Every time I check, it blames the NBN. They are in active build in my area at present (lots of trucks with spools of green cable on them), so I do believe it - it is just incredibly frustrating to have the service so unreliable. It has effectively stopped me working from home.

  • Strehlowwendy Wendy Strehlow (@Strehlowwendy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Still an outage in Bondi . Apparently now it is an NBN problem . Not maintenance. Telstra make up your mind and please communicate with your call centre in the Phillipines. It is not fair to them . A more accurate outcome timevwould be helpful too....

  • buszwack jg (@buszwack) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm @JulieBishopMP can’t read your message my nbn is sooo slow

  • GeorgeNewhouse Prof George Newhouse (@GeorgeNewhouse) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@michellegrattan I have had two appointments where @NBN_Australia never turned up. They are hopeless and rude. They Never call to reschedule and they never apologise.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Our @Telstra cable Internet has been down for two days straight now, after repeated short outages over the preceding days. The outage page says it's @NBN_Australia's fault (even though I am not on the NBN), no ETA on resolution given.

  • SensibleUnderp1 Sensible Underpants (@SensibleUnderp1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

It's on track to deliver NBN over copper. A totally substandard solution that will have enormous implications for the digital economy. Another LNP ***********.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

My wife got an email about a planned outage due to NBN work on the 27th of Feb. She's not listed on the account, and I didn't get the same email.

  • AlexBrangwin Alexandria Brangwin (@AlexBrangwin) reported from Wollongong, State of New South Wales

@DoctorKarl Can't believe this was an election issue and everyone chose so poorly. @TurnbullMalcolm, @TonyAbbottMHR & @JoeHockey screwed Australian internet over for generations. #NBN #Fail

  • lyng62 Lyn (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Toddy2102 @Optus @NBN_Australia I get well over 90 down speed at the moment and I need it for work.

  • lyng62 Lyn (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Toddy2102 @Optus @NBN_Australia Thats Correct. I rang Optus while the tech was still here and said - do not switch anything over until we discuss the issue of the NBN modem and router being DOWNSTAIRS now when my cable connection comes straight into my office which is UPSTAIRS.

  • Singh02017 Anil Singh (@Singh02017) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Have received 2 calls today on my landline. An automated message saying, call is from National Broadband Network & to press 1 to talk to a technician or Internet will be disconnected! The number to call (03)7689-4456. Assume it is a scam! @NBN_Australia @charlietech @nswpolice

  • JennaPrice Jenna Price (@JennaPrice) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I have just shouted at a scammer on the phone. It was a variation of the "I am Nicole from NBN". This time the person was pretending to be Telstra. That was my fourth call today from them. Please send help @Scamwatch_gov - I am losing my mind.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra And down again just now. Outage page blames nbn again...

  • Strehlowwendy Wendy Strehlow (@Strehlowwendy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia No Bianca I am with Telstra but I do feel like I’m being bullied into switching to NBN as none of the NBN customers in our street our affected. Really poor form NBN

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@margokingston1 @tagwacheOz Part of the way to fix it & move forward, hope it's $20bn writedown, we are sure going to need it, to fix LNP's destruction of the NBN

@Rohini_indo_aus @CBCTerry Complaint to the service provider, their ( contractors or employees) ain't supposed to have any private religious displays on their work utes or vehicles. NBN policy.

  • HeathlBingham Heath Bingham (@HeathlBingham) reported

Telstra (The world's worst company) just informed us that the NBN (The worlds worst network) no longer works in our area and will be several months before it's fixed...Starlink anyone?

  • spikey_cat Spikey_cat 🔜 FURDU (@spikey_cat) reported

@PuppoBandit Odd they are usually okay, I'd probs bet they havent just bothered to push the issue over to nbn or offer you their 5g solution

  • t3mporarybl1p 💀 (@t3mporarybl1p) reported

    @jean_ERdC @SpaceX @NBN_Australia Argh, that sucks...

  • asherspira Asher Reborn (@asherspira) reported

@mikejanda @peter_tulip The NBN was created when the 'competitive market' couldn't deliver adequate service. A natural monopoly may have been the cause and ]against the public interest. I would say that the same phenomenon would still be present, so I'd be guessing 'yes'.

  • EdAndTheLX 🔥💧Eddie P. 💧🔥 (@EdAndTheLX) reported

@DoctorKarl This was my exact situation until NBN opened up free fibre upgrades in my area (which I took up immediately). Prior to this my ‘quote’ was a bit over $12,000. Pipe already there but the quote never took this in to account.

  • Elbon101 Geoff Noble (@Elbon101) reported

@Telstra please help. My NBN broadband is terrible. The modem covering it is terrible and your app where you ask me to report errors is, well, terrible. Can someone DM so I can log a fault please?

  • camram63 Craig McKenzie (@camram63) reported

@DoctorKarl I moved home recently and signed up for a 100mb service. Never got anywhere near that speed and when I complained I was told by ISP that NBN had informed them max download speed for my area is 9mb/s!!! And no I don't live in the sticks.....in suburban Geelong. Just appalling!

  • stephengentle Stephen Gentle (@stephengentle) reported

@MRowlandMP @springfieldQLD I get ads for 5G home internet - if NBN don't fix the nonsense pricing model then a lot of people are going to migrate. For what I'm paying for 100/20 I should be getting at the very least 250/100 or 500/200 (notice the decent upload speeds)

  • DogStar_01 DogStar (@DogStar_01) reported

Nope, was an NBN / Router problem. Did the old IT Crowd solution of turning it off and on again.
