Apparently 44Mbps is good. Ping 21ms to Hobart and 24 to Melbourne. Getting 13 down and 14 up. We’re on 100Mbps cable and have yet to switch to NBN. That happens tmrw.

@Telstra We currently signed up with Telstra NBN. Now our phone hasn't been working for 3 days. Intetnet is dropping out on/off. Contacted tech support 132999 and got a link for text support. No one can help. Not even to set up a call forwarding.

@Telstra Thanks Ollie, It’s a brand new (Tue 25/08) NBN connection. I have raised incidents every time except the last two. At the moment it isn’t causing problems I won’t be at work for a week it won’t be monitored as quickly. But please note 0:35, 06:35, & 13:35 daily* when we are home

@Telstra There is no outage . Just trying to move to NBN with no porting help . No one to speak too . No one at all . 5 weeks now , my mum is 80 and is in 😭 tears .

@NBN_Australia Done all that, Matt. Have been on the service since Tuesday: • that afternoon, 6 drop-outs; incident raised with provider; • Wednesday afternoon, several drop outs, varying from 10min to 30min+; incident raised; • short disconnection today after 13:30. Restarts sufficient.

@BreakfastNews I have persistent calls alleging they are from the NBN and now Telstra advising me that there are problems with my internet. I ask them for their employee number and tell them I’ll call back.

@CozWasHere Currently on cable Internet.. was promised the same 100Mbps through NBN as I am getting on the old system. The break-down has been since they installed the cable adaptor last week.. now have to turn it off/on every time it falls over!!

@BroHilderchump Telstra (or someone) offers 4G Backup for when the service is interrupted... should have gone for that but I already had an NBN-ready modem so I thought, naah Stupidly But from what you say I’m probably on a better thing

@ShiannonC I sort of agree with you! However, Govt and its monopolized and duoplolized sector have created a lot of unproductive and redundant, laidback jobs,like Telstra,NBN many banks, many without competitive service and poor innovation. Banks just punts on real estate.

@VodafoneAU Is there a problem with the NBN network in Brisbane (Hemmant 4174). Have been averaging 40mbs since switching to 50 plan, but today speeds of 0.3 to 3.4mbs. It’s ground to a standstill!

Moving to #Telstra #NBN and had our business internet cut off 7 days ago. Spent a week with good people at #Telstra trying to fix. Told today COULD be back by 8th JULY!!! Now the Victorian Lockdown. How much more can small businesses take?? Thanks @andy_penn @JamesMerlinoMP

Interesting reading $ABB notice this morning talking about impact of NBN appointment system issues. The issue is that NBN has cut rates for contractors by 40% and allowed them to opt out of jobs! So techs have a look, realise its a complex job, no money in it, so reject job!

Hey @Optus I’m getting daily dropouts with HFC NBN. The support team have been unhelpful. Concierge service is useless. I keep asking them to log a request with NBN but they keep giving excuses. On the one occasion a ticket was logged, they closed ticket immediately.

@BreakfastNews @enenbee Pandemics and health issues are a part of global warming. Quarantine facilities are going to be needed. We did have them but the LNP IPA Murdoch Party sold off every public asset they could get their hands on to mates at mates rates. Still going in for the kill on ABC, NBN etc
