@Beethov39075926 @PollyWi92611992 And yes, I certainly agree LNP were a disaster. It was 9 yrs of stress watching them set out to destroy everything Gillard minority govt achieved for climate, + wrecking Labor NBN. Then the damage by SM...but ALP voted w/ his govt most of time. eg. "gas-led" ongoing disaster.

@markhumphries $300 gets you a Kogan Mobile SIM with 500GB (or 40Gb per month) on Vodafone network. That's a fair bit. Forget about NBN.

  • TheRealPembo Michael Pemberton (@TheRealPembo) reported

@markhumphries Speak to Fair Trading. It is suggested that the property must be listed as not having an NBN connection. If it isn't stated in the listing, you may have grounds to lodge a complaint.

@NBN_Australia @ozcobaye April, not wishing to be rude, but you can read right? I think Kev's tweet explained his service, whilst connected to the NBN operates at ADSL speed.

@TheStone_jade I haven't experienced any good difference, but we are rural and rely on wireless nbn on the house, even that never had any huge effects on speed we stream 3 TV's and have 3 mobiles and often 2 computers when home Now the mobile disconnects unless 5g enabled

  • crackerofacoote Bandi (@crackerofacoote) reported

@markhumphries Wireless broadband. Plug into power and off you go. No need for phone lines, no busted nbn box in a storm, move from house to house. We pay $59 a month with Optus and never go over (work from home, lots of video calls, stream tv).

@markhumphries @NBN_Australia Just wait until you experience the awful speeds and continual drop outs!

  • frosty_morgan Frosty Morgan (@frosty_morgan) reported

@markhumphries Who is actually charging? NBN or a service provider like Telstra or Dodo etc. I live in regional NSW and use Mint Telecom, based in Hobart. Get immediate response on phone if have issues, & very quick to set you up.

  • Ivann99563502 Ivann (@Ivann99563502) reported

@markhumphries Why don’t you get 4G or 5G wireless broadband instead? NBN is slow and expensive

  • Satya_PN21 Satya N (@Satya_PN21) reported

@markhumphries changed 3 homes, never paid. If the house was advertised as NBN Ready, you should have never paid a cent. They will warn to charge a fee if you miss the appointment. If it was wrongly advertised as NBN ready ,then you should take it to the fair trading.
