@Optus @pitdroidtech Seriously @Optus , check the status page? This is the 2nd outage/severe latency issue in 3 days, still your page says no NBN issues for my area. I literally have a speedtest of 0.20 Mbps and I am only 25 minutes from Sydney's CBD paying for tier 1 service! I cannot work.

@NBN_Australia Had no internet at home for 3 days. ISP knows nothing. The NBN outages website still says there is no problem at my address. Terrible service, terrible communication. Shame on the NBN.

@KKeneally @AlboMP Crap, we were there, we saw what happened, Albo and Conroy together stuffed NBN completely, Turnbull had to go fix it. Senior technicians refused to work for them, remained loyal to Telstra, so NBNCo had to start over with apprentices; what we call monumental clusterf*ck.

@Optus It'd help if the service actually worked. I bought a USB modem on Monday because my NBN is down and I work from home, and it's worked for about 6hrs total since.

@NBN_Australia That's great for Gympie considering the widespread damage. Meanwhile NBN technicians will not come to my area due to "widespread flooding"...WE WERE NEVER FLOODED. THERE IS NO FLOOD

@KKeneally @AlboMP NBN was always a labor lemon and always will be. People and business don't need fix internet, the need mobile internet, people and business are on the move not fixed to one spot.

@iiNet @NBN_Australia service is out in Annerley (4103). NBN website says no issues but there was a few hour lag on that information two days ago when similar circumstance occurred.

@NBN_Australia Thanks. Was completely off the air for almost 2 days. Checked outages, nothing. Dealing with Optus was nightmarish. I went around and around with their AI interface. I put it down to the severe storm. Anyway, up again although does get slow at times.

Now (we are now 5 hours past last night’s estimated fix time) the NBN is estimated to be fixed at 5pm this evening I wonder if the power line digging screwed it up somehow? I need to rest all day anyway- lots of pain after yesterday- so not too fussed
