Imagine as a company sending a technician to a private house NBN install then when it’s time to give us the internet, they decide to give it to the school next door then cancel it without contact. ******* hopeless. Only 3 things on my street. House, school, small airport. Idiots.

For those with failing memory: Under the Rudd Labor (ALP) government’s plan, the NBN was to be a cutting-edge fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) network, covering 93% of homes and businesses by 2021. Even using pessimistic opposition (LNP) costings, the projected cost was A$46 billion.

@honyocker @IridiumBoss Having read the article, it's not a Cell Phone arrangement. It's basically like what the NBN does in Australia for "Land-Line" phones being routed over the network via VoIP through to your phone provider. Still not stepping on Iridium's toes with this one.

@NinAnnunaki @Optus Optus NBN HFC not working here in Sydney since I rebooted router last night. Tried putting on original optus router but still nothing, I think they are not issuing IP addresses, did you reboot your modem/router by any chance before you lost Internet?

@OskaArcher Reminds me of the NBN scenario: let’s go cheap now so we can benefit quicker. 10 yes later, budget is blown and it’s not working to the level we need it to. Now we have to spend more money.
