@Floatdownriver My elderly neighbor had a dreadful experience with being forced into having the NBN to keep her landline. Pretty useless when there is an outage and she has no access for 2 weeks. As a matter of safety she now has a mobile.

@ShaunHodgins @AltoCarol @crownsfive1 @billshortenmp Yeah I don’t agree. One example, Telstra would never have been sold off. Telco infrastructure would have been maintained and upgraded. The NBN may not have been required and thus we would not have had to buy back and rent infrastructure that was previously owned by the tax payer

@lynlinking Voters after the six years of constant bullshit flowing from the Gov. The Scare campaigns, the Broken Promises, The Corporate rorting, The NBN stuff up, The massive rise in the national debt under this Gov. Now unfailingly recognise bullshit in all its powdered and perfumed forms

@DoctorKarl Can't believe this was an election issue and everyone chose so poorly. @TurnbullMalcolm, @TonyAbbottMHR & @JoeHockey screwed Australian internet over for generations. #NBN #Fail

@andrew_blow @wendy_harmer @MikeCarlton01 @sarahgerathy Senate estimates covers a lot of the boring mundane stuff that affects everyone. The problem is that some hearings are timed to avoid much journalistic scrutiny (NBN used to be on late at night, routinely) or there is so much happening at same time that some issues get neglected.

Have received 2 calls today on my landline. An automated message saying, call is from National Broadband Network & to press 1 to talk to a technician or Internet will be disconnected! The number to call (03)7689-4456. Assume it is a scam! @NBN_Australia @charlietech @nswpolice
