@JedTheBuzzard23 Hey Jed, an unplanned incident means something other than scheduled maintenance is currently affecting your service. For example, a third party may have accidentally damaged underground cables or other nbn assets. 1/2

  • Xcaliborg Aussie Jordan 🦘 (@Xcaliborg) reported

@Alifluro @justkyledavid @MikeDillonVA Even me with NBN it’s super bad but hopefully it works out for y’all!

  • Askgerbil Askgerbil Now (@Askgerbil) reported

@GuardianAus Oops. "Cheap" NBN. Another LNP fail. "3% of the 437,000 boxes installed at the kerb are replaced EVERY MONTH" via @joshgnosis Optical fibre does not conduct electricity. Copper to the node conducts lightning directly into NBN modems inside homes. #auspol

@AlexJentalFly Oh to be on 300mbps... In my experience, in the city, it's been no more than 100mbps down. We were going to have a fibre everywhere scheme called the NBN, but it got dumbed down and/or delayed. Australian internet is bad.

  • allrite allrite (@allrite) reported

No prior notification of Telstra NBN outage Check status, scheduled, complete at 1.30pm Check status again, confirmed outage, to be restored 6pm tomorrow.... 4G backup 1/4 download speed, 1/30 upload of NBN.... 😡

  • RhoBeta1 Ross B. 🌾🌊💧🌾🌊 (@RhoBeta1) reported

@AlboMP Fine. Will you rebuild the ABC? Aged care? The NBN? Australia's broken international reputation? #auspol

  • maz_net_au Maz (@maz_net_au) reported

@NBN_Australia So that's plans and proposals to upgrade < 300,000 premises off copper, wireless and satellite but 0 actually upgraded. Only 9,000,000+ to go. $57 billion for 2 million FTTP connections and a whole lot of crap. Financially reponsible... like a fox! (Maybe a dead one)

  • TTAUG10 Terry Toaldo (@TTAUG10) reported

@NBN_Australia How about you sort out the disgraceful connectivity in the middle of the city? Setting up these projects is all very well, but if the service is appalling- far worse than basic cable - what’s the point? The NBN is the problem not the solution

  • SchoonerLita 💧 🌊Devil Sewer Rodent #AnyDayOfTheWeek (@SchoonerLita) reported

@BazzaCC Under Labor #NBN plan we would have had small backup power supplies so people would still have phone lines in blackouts, most emergency situations. Under these thieves the whole concept has been compromised/ruined, we've been robbed with a **** network, ridiculously expensive.

@NBN_Australia I appreciate but they themselves check the same page. Looking at your experience you could classify the fix as small, med or large and put certain timelines. Take some ownership instead passing the buck.
