  • jasondrennan71
Jason Drennan (@jasondrennan71) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Telstra why is @NBN_Australia so slow tonight at 2.75kbs. Woeful. Two hours and still can’t download a movie that runs for same time.

  • traceyo_71
Tracey Oorschot (@traceyo_71) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@MeganLeePhD Had that experience due to lack of NBN, resorting to hotspotting. Its been a critical service for awhile now. Pity so many still lack either a service or a quality service

  • BelindaNoonan1
Belinda Noonan (@BelindaNoonan1) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Optus have “technical errors” if you are trying to get technical help with NBN. That’s what I was told when transferred to NBN tech help desk, after another ridiculous amount of phone time.

  • Blakehepworth
Blake Hepworth (@Blakehepworth) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom internet just went down in kincumbrr nsw. No planned maintenance. Is this an nbn issue? Always seems to happen late night

  • bigtruth2
hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Telstra are just plain hopeless. Have been trying since May to fix a Telstra “error”....up to call 46 and each time assured it is fixed. Even have emails saying fixed but still NBN speed 0.002!!! World class!!

  • simon300376
Simon H (@simon300376) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom NBN dropouts again, persistently having same problem and now customer service directs to online chat, which is hopeless when your internet is down. Hopeless TPG. Am going to churn.

  • CarlOZ74
CarlOZTeves (@CarlOZ74) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@NBN_Australia are there any updates with the issues that are occurring on the Central Coast (2257)? I’ve been dropping out every 10 mins for at least 2mins. I’m meant to be working from home, but this is unacceptable!

  • mkentwell
Bigots be gone (@mkentwell) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@RavnilRanjay @ScottMorrisonMP There is a projected possible potential surplus... And then only if all the unicorns fat at the same time. This is a surplus like the NBN was a solution #fraudband #fraudsurplus

  • bittenbydesign
Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Cummins7Robert @SBSNews @ScottMorrisonMP The LNP is just being the attack dog controllers for Murdoch. Murdoch and his father were and still are hell bent on killing off the ABC and anyone not on their payroll. Look who is pulling the strings. The LNP did similar shit for FOXTEL by stuffing the NBN to make Netflix bad.

  • richardmissingh
richard missingham (@richardmissingh) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm @RNBreakfast That's like the only problem with the NBN is we thought you knew what you were doing ..

  • LloydRothwell
Lloyd Rothwell (@LloydRothwell) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom NBN customer and quality of connection and number of dropouts has grown exponentially the past two weeks. Time without connection is now exceeding time connected.

  • midii
Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Mont Colah, New South Wales

@jendudley You need a modem update. Mine has a 4G backup if the NBN drops out. Never without the interwebs.

  • debra_mcgrath
Debra McGrath (@debra_mcgrath) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@QuentinDempster @MrPhillipJHall1 Our NBN goes down whenever there is a storm coming

  • bigtruth2
hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Telstra another day goes by and still not resolved......June 26 and no NBN. Entirely Telstra problem when by mistake they put “restrictions “ on the account but it takes forever to lift them. BTW was in credit when restrictions where wrongly imposed

  • AUSFestivus
It's dogs all the way down (@AUSFestivus) reported from Mont Colah, New South Wales

I can’t wait for Friday. NBN tech booked in to fault find why the service drops out when it rains. This is almost certainly going to go as well as it sounds it could.

  • bittenbydesign
Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@alexwantscoffee @NBN_Australia Exactly my thoughts. And no amount of help from the service provider is going to change the amount of users on the node, or as you say, magically turn the copper lines to fibre optic.

  • Beer_Baron88
Dr Matt (@Beer_Baron88) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

@Scamwatch_gov @nswpolice I don't care if they scam me, just get my damn NBN hooked up

  • abbeeblu
Abbee 👽 (@abbeeblu) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales

I am LIVID I have been calling @TPG_Telecom for TWO MONTHS straight now trying to organise my nbn to be installed. The last 4 phone calls I’ve made I’ve just asked for a refund because they can’t provide me service. Putting my Karen pants on, this is ridiculous

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jaykay287
Somebody SAVE pop music please (@jaykay287) reported

My parents love NBN News, my sister and I love the rewind segment at the end of the Sunday bulletin. Moving NBN news to a half hour before the Sydney bulletin is a god damn joke.

  • PeterD84508
    Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported

@TheNoisyTrunk @Caitlen2310 @arbsmichael At a time when the network needed to be upgraded to optic fibre Howard sold off Telstra to the people that already owned it. The cost to build the NBN should also be included in Howard's debts .

  • charlietech
    Charlie (@charlietech) reported

@gav_mck I ran into that with my uncle in Maleny. The crowding for Starlink meant no space. He has it now (waited in que like every1) but its why NBN are pushing their service to market asap with Amazon leo. At least you have options!!

  • kojrey_codes
    Kojrey (@kojrey_codes) reported

This is the argument for the #NBN few predicted: 1) Spend lots of money to build a national broadband network. 2) Spend even more money to make it Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) by default. 3) Private competitor pops up and offers comparable service, in more geographies, with zero Australian govt money. ....But where some are now (4a) Private competitor drives out public investment (4b) Private competitor CEO becomes hyper-partisan & divisive AND THEN (4c) They decide to use almost-monopoly power to hold citizens hostage with price increases. Kevin07 may have saved us, even if he didn't know it at the time.

  • SydneyCityTV
    SydneyCityTV (@SydneyCityTV) reported

A pity I didn't see how tonight's Dalts report played out on NBN News, would've been rather funny if Natasha Beyersdorf (who I think may have even worked alongside Kevin at Prime Tamworth, but I'm not 100% sure of that) made a "I think I've seen Kevin on another network" quip! 😜

  • Gmeister67
    GregM (@Gmeister67) reported

@WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

  • Bradstr01
    Brad (@Bradstr01) reported

@SimonBanksHB “Modelling shows” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Labor modelling also gave us $275 lower power bills, mining tax revenue, a surplus and NBN timelines that never arrived. Publish the assumptions, not just the headline. Young Australians deserve evidence, not spin.

  • Harold36089778
    Harold ☢️🔥🏭⚛️ (@Harold36089778) reported

@MarkoMatvikov Even worse: Labor writes new laws to force super to invest in “building back Aus” like Melb-Syd high speed rail or upgrading NBN. When competition policy allowing global carriers to compete on the Melb-Sydney flight would drive costs down & Starlink is outcompeting NBN today.

  • PietroDarke
    Pietro (@PietroDarke) reported

@centralNRL Agree with the 4K sentiment. Biggest games like Origin & GF not on 4K is poor. Contrary to others my Kayo on 4K is reliable & have not converted to NBN yet.

  • TLDragon23
    The Last Dragon (@TLDragon23) reported

@DarrylKerrigan3 @thecoastguy Yeah, it's a losers game in Technology esp. for the Government because it is too slow and too far behind the curve They'll spend all this taxpayer money implementing something that will take too long and cost too much, then something else will be created that will blow it out of the water NBN < Starlink anyone?
