@PaulFletcherMP before you can connect premises you need to build the entire NBN enterprise and network backbone. And you are claiming credit for a half-arsed implementation using obsolete technologies that it being replaced at great expense as we speak. Because you did it wrong the first time!

Country SA. I had the NBN but got rid of it as it was slow and unreliable due to the pair gain system copper network. I use a local wireless broadband service. Rupert milked his stranded asset and the LNP stayed in power.

@AlboMP I signed up for Starlink because where I live doesn't have cable, the copper is stuffed, and our only option was LTE. I'm getting download speeds LITERALLY FROM SPACE that exceed the top tier NBN plans. As a taxpayer who relies on internet for an income I feel very let down.

@GrogsGamut We had an NBN installation TODAY for **** sake. In Moonee FNK Ponds. It's the earliest we could get and it's only fkn HFC rubbish. The Modem still hasn't turned up so we can't even fkn use it. @PaulFletcherMP you hopeless prick.

@PaulFletcherMP You lot botched it. With the mixed technology "bolt on", you've added to the cost of the NBN. Also many folks are stuck with a "last mile of copper", that is badly degraded and in most cases reassembles a rat's nest due to poor maintainance under a mostly private Telstra.

@AlboMP Pfft. Cables. What about mobile spectrum? Wonder why Telstra happily sold its network to us? Wonder what they are spending their NBN cash on? NBN was a dud idea to start. It’s hurt competition and choice. It’s hurt quality of internet services. Government should have kept out.
