  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Mr Mullen claimed that the NBN’s high wholesale pricing would force resellers to “withdraw or go broke”, with consumers ultimately losing out. “The downside of this in turn will be fewer service providers and ultimately higher broadband prices to the consumer,” Mr Mullen said.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“By next year, the NBN Co has promised to have 8.1 million homes and businesses using the service, with a further 11.7 million ready to connect. However, experts have warned the NBN’s speed and reliability issues will only worsen as more households and businesses connect.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“However, Internet Australia chair Paul Brooks slammed the report as “self-serving” & “disingenuous”. “Clearly [the NBN Co] have an image problem they’re trying to repair, and that image problem is justified,” Dr Brooks said. Speedtest ranks Australia 61st for broadband speed”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Labor had spent around $6.5 billion on the NBN when the Coalition took power in 2013, with the government since splashing more than $44 billion of taxpayer funds to create what experts have described as an “obsolete” and “third-world” broadband network.” Arrogant f**king lnp.

@DocB__ @NBN_Australia @iiNet I wasn't happy with iinet. Long story but they made an admin mistake and charged me for a service I cancelled but refused to wave the charges until I went to the ombudsman.

  • drajm Dr Miller - vax kids asap (@drajm) reported

Look I know there is a lot going on but there will be for a while, and we need to, at some stage deal with the fact that this NBN is ****.

@DougCameron51 @Barnaby_Joyce @PatsKarvelas It wasn’t a problem when a company that his partner has shares in was given a taxpayer funded $500,000 NBN upgrade. Oh but we need to be prudent with taxpayer funds. Hear that Lismore.

  • danjohnson1979 Daniel Johnson (@danjohnson1979) reported

My partner visited a @Telstra store to pick up our NBN modem two weeks ago, but we've had issues & been relying on "back-up" data since. Turns out Telstra have been trying to connect to THE WRONG ADDRESS, & even sent a technician there yesterday. The ineptitude is staggering 🙄

  • silentanb AB (@silentanb) reported

@drajm HFC nbn is good. Just copper cable that is crap.

  • DocB__ Ron Baumann 💧 (@DocB__) reported

@KdH37636844 @NBN_Australia @iiNet I can but I don't want to spend almost $1,000 on setup and $139 a month for the service. iiNet wireless is only $49.95 and I really don't need the high speeds.
