@platykitten We're already paying for a substandard service. Let NBN pay the fkn tax

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“By next year, the NBN Co has promised to have 8.1 million homes and businesses using the service, with a further 11.7 million ready to connect. However, experts have warned the NBN’s speed and reliability issues will only worsen as more households and businesses connect.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Labor had spent around $6.5 billion on the NBN when the Coalition took power in 2013, with the government since splashing more than $44 billion of taxpayer funds to create what experts have described as an “obsolete” and “third-world” broadband network.” Arrogant f**king lnp.

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Mr Mullen claimed that the NBN’s high wholesale pricing would force resellers to “withdraw or go broke”, with consumers ultimately losing out. “The downside of this in turn will be fewer service providers and ultimately higher broadband prices to the consumer,” Mr Mullen said.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“However, Internet Australia chair Paul Brooks slammed the report as “self-serving” & “disingenuous”. “Clearly [the NBN Co] have an image problem they’re trying to repair, and that image problem is justified,” Dr Brooks said. Speedtest ranks Australia 61st for broadband speed”

Just cancelled my @Telstra #NBN, talk about IMCOMPETENCE. Three weeks trying to organise relocation of my NBN service from Elwood to Mornington, twice i placed the order & TWICE they didnt do it. & the third time they tried to go thru all the same dumb questions again.

  • FullerGraeme 💧Graeme Fuller (@FullerGraeme) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JohnRHewson You must know already that there is no shame in this government. Robodebt, NBN fail, Aged Care NEGLECT, Biodiversity & Extinction shame, all before starting on MDB disaster and ongoing corruption at a level never seen in Australia and an economy fallen from 3rd to 25th in OECD.

  • samjackel sam jackel (@samjackel) reported

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia I know right. Do it outside of work and remote schooling hours. We do our changes when the customer impact is at its least during the middle of the night

  • TerryWest222 Terry West 222 (@TerryWest222) reported

@MichaelWestBiz We could have had a 100% FTTP wholesaler with new entrants paying the same access price competing at a retail level ensuring consumers competitive outcomes, instead we have a broken NBN Lite mish mash of unreliable services barely able to stream Netflix with high cost plans, joke

  • Mijjy3 🌏☮🐾Hopeful Cynic ♈🌱💧 (@Mijjy3) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill The ACCC is partly responsible for the need that the NBN is, Rod Sims was quite a vocal opponent of the FTTP model with a single wholesaler, he wanted it split up with different techs so costumers could have a choice. It was clear he never understood the vision

  • DPeters333 DylanPeters333 (@DPeters333) reported

@ChristouSteve So the labor govt 2007-13 she was minister in never happened? Paid parental leave, NDIS, fair work commission, NBN, getting through gfc without recession etc. Pathetic trolling of labor as usual from @ChristouSteve.

  • Billiegirl0277 Billiegirl (@Billiegirl0277) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill Im in a newer suburb and we have private service here called Opticomm. Its is more reliable than NBN but downfall is not many ISP and does cost more.

  • RubyNekoChanTTV 🎀RubyNekoChan🎀 (@RubyNekoChanTTV) reported

Just signed up to a new internet service, let's hope this gets good. Current plan: NBN 50/20 get's 45/15 for $80 New plan: Not NBN 100/20 lowest we can get is 73/? $40 for per months for 12 months and then $80 after. Let's go bois

  • DallasLewis_Aus Dallas Lewis (@DallasLewis_Aus) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill There is absolutely no reason to sell the NBN. The money spent on its construction did not cause inflation and the Federal govt does not need to get money from anywhere in order to spend. It should retain control and make the service free.
