“Labor had spent around $6.5 billion on the NBN when the Coalition took power in 2013, with the government since splashing more than $44 billion of taxpayer funds to create what experts have described as an “obsolete” and “third-world” broadband network.” Arrogant f**king lnp.

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Mr Mullen claimed that the NBN’s high wholesale pricing would force resellers to “withdraw or go broke”, with consumers ultimately losing out. “The downside of this in turn will be fewer service providers and ultimately higher broadband prices to the consumer,” Mr Mullen said.”

  • teeser 💧Linda Teese (@teeser) reported from Byron Bay, State of New South Wales

@platykitten We're already paying for a substandard service. Let NBN pay the fkn tax

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“However, Internet Australia chair Paul Brooks slammed the report as “self-serving” & “disingenuous”. “Clearly [the NBN Co] have an image problem they’re trying to repair, and that image problem is justified,” Dr Brooks said. Speedtest ranks Australia 61st for broadband speed”

  • teeser 💧Linda Teese (@teeser) reported from Byron Bay, State of New South Wales

@StuartEdser A litany of poor decisions relating to the environment, treatment of asylum seekers, welfare recipients and the NBN

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“By next year, the NBN Co has promised to have 8.1 million homes and businesses using the service, with a further 11.7 million ready to connect. However, experts have warned the NBN’s speed and reliability issues will only worsen as more households and businesses connect.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“The staggering sum was highlighted by the nation’s peak body for phone and internet users on Wednesday, in a response to the consumer watchdog’s NBN Wholesale Service Standards Inquiry draft decision.”

@Optus FTTP NBN in Thornlands, QLD 4164 is unusable this morning and the usual troubleshooting steps are not resolving the issue. Please report to your technical team. Thank you.

  • thekatietonia Katie (@thekatietonia) reported

Many weeks deep into having my internet drop out over and over and NBN are still rejecting the fault and refusing to do anything. They are the absolute worst. I've had to lodge a complaint with the ombudsman.

  • DebHoggoz Deb Hogg 📚🐨🦉🏝🌺🙏😝 (@DebHoggoz) reported

@NBN_Australia That's just the theoretical solution. In reality, neither Telstra as provider nor NBN wants to take responsibility for intermittent faults and just want to waste the customer's time without resolving the service fault. NFF "no fault found" is the excuse to do nothing.

@Telstra Re: order 1-2770745927524, chat reference number: 04424912, we were told technician was going to come yesterday to install NBN. No one came, no communication whatsoever. Guys on chat services are useless. Get someone to fix this ASAP!!!

  • cjtjgeol cjtjgeol (@cjtjgeol) reported

@Peter90666913 Welcome to nbn..previous modem worked great till nbn modem installed..multiple phone calls, technician visits..works now, but only after 6 months of stop start service..finally resolved ( I think?)

  • Vass2016 Vass (@Vass2016) reported

@Peter90666913 It took 3 days and a letter to Telstra CEO before i could get someone to deal with our issue. NBN box died after being installed less than 9 months. NBN is the biggest waste if money next to the submarines.

  • nattaj23 Natalie Moiler 🤔 (@nattaj23) reported

Anyone else having issues with their @Foxtel NBN dropping out all the 🤬 time like I can’t even stream one episode without multiple dropouts yesterday and today? 5 mins between the most recent dropouts but it’s says there are no outages in our area! WTF.

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@Telstra Hi Renee, It has never been up to the speed expected since going to NBN back in October. No, haven 't had a chance to discuss with you as the APP is a joke for support & it still frustrates me that 9months into COVID, you still have NO Call centre solution.

  • OccupyMyGov Occupy Centrelink (@OccupyMyGov) reported

The government designed an income management system which leaves social security recipients without access to their only source of income when their dodgy nbn goes down which it does at the drop of a hat. Often for days or weeks at a time especially in remote communities.

  • Geoff4273 🇦🇺 Geoff4273 (@Geoff4273) reported

@Peter90666913 Your mistake was allowing Foxtel to be your NBN provider. Please cancel and go with another provider. TPG is generally fairly easy to deal with. Then get Foxtel on. Trust me I deal with all these fckwits daily.
