NBN Issues Reports Near Campbelltown, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Campbelltown and nearby locations:

  • debkasmar Deb Kasmar (@debkasmar) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Yes I know it has been awful. The odd thing is as soon as they fixed the traffic lights at the end of the street everything came back on - strange

  • arafattehsin Arafat Tehsin (@arafattehsin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Thanks Alex for the pointers. I've already reached out to them on at least 3 different mediums. Still waiting for their response. Such a pathetic service.

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Optus NBN sucks. The technician didn’t show up today and I’ve had no internet for 2 days. Last time this happened I had no internet for 2 months! @Optus 😡 not happy.

  • the_jongleur Michael Mulhern (@the_jongleur) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MickMakes I suppose it’s because I’m 35km, or so, from the Sydney CBD. @NBN just too lazy/cheap to even run in a 2nd rate solution like FTN. SkyMuster is a joke. You’d think that for an area that is a mobile black spot, that the NBN planners would at least get their “solution” right!

  • arafattehsin Arafat Tehsin (@arafattehsin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Yes my provider @TPG_Telecom is never responding on the phones so we are still helpless without any clue of when is it going to get resolved.

  • piersg የጎቿዪነ ኗዐዐዕዘቿሠ (@piersg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@optus NBN seems down in 2044, and 4G is pretty slow (and yr status page is slower still)

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@mhp478 @JamesCridland @NBN_Australia @Telstra Utter bullshit. Take your hate elsewhere so we can just have a problem solving conversation without you

  • arafattehsin Arafat Tehsin (@arafattehsin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom What a standard (low) level response is this. I had a long chat with your support engineer who has no idea what could go wrong therefore, he raised a complain for NBN and other teams (which he did not tell me about) @NBN_Australia

  • jaihohyd Chowkidar batman (@jaihohyd) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Dodo NBN broadband is down in westmead. Have been trying to raise complaint but customer service never picks up calls. Have been on line for hr. Pls help @DodoAustralia

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@kiwihestyles No, just my NBN and they won’t send a technician out to fix it. 😊😡

  • midii Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jendudley @Telstra I saw that. I pay more for the nbn than my mobile by almost double. Will be going down a plan or scrapping it for 4G.

  • bunny_09 Jules (@bunny_09) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom NBN issues in Ryde, but not listed as current outage on website: what’s going on

  • debkasmar Deb Kasmar (@debkasmar) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia That’s the problem no one knows anything 😡

  • fictillius Quiet, Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MiddleMoney @NewtonMark @TurnbullMalcolm @NBN_Australia NBN could just fix all this butthurt by removing CVC charges and having a single flat AVC or maybe one additional cheap AVC for oldies that just want a landline. Then you get whatever the line can do

  • JonoHerrman Jonathan Herrman (@JonoHerrman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GladysB @Asher_Wolf @NSWSES Can’t... power down since Sun. @Telstra black hole and 3G/4G booster (their solution that cost ~$2k!) therefore out... modem also dead so @NBN_Australia doesn’t work (no #Internet). #VoIP phone dead. Looking at a diesel generator... middle of #Sydney’s #NorthShore 🙁

  • s3_gunzel Ben Cousins (@s3_gunzel) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

And our NBN is out. Again. So is our Foxtel. Managing a network can’t be that hard!

  • debrapittam Debra Pittam (@debrapittam) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Update on my #Telstra #NBN connection winge: they dropped us from 100/30 to 25/5 still keeping us on the same price plan. The only way to resolve it without an increae in plan cost was to raise a complaint. Check your speeds people. If we hadn’t we wouldn’t have known.

  • Cal_O_Rynn Cal 🌻 🌸🍄 (@Cal_O_Rynn) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DarrenKilminst1 Before this issue where we have been fighting since August, escalated in November, then hit the fan in January, I didn't have much of an issue either. But trying to run a medium sized business with one phone line & voicemail has been a nightmare! Telstra + NBN = 🤯

  • fictillius Quiet, Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MiddleMoney @NewtonMark @TurnbullMalcolm @NBN_Australia It’s the business model that’s been the problem from the day Conroy came up with it. What’s telling is only half the premises ready for service have actually ordered one because it’s so damn expensive and now has a bad reputation.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@mavetju @NickRossTech @Aussie_BB Yep, if it was an NBN issue, the VPN wouldn't help, as both the VPN and the direct download both traverse the same last-mile (FTTN/FTTC/FTTP/HFC) and use the provider's external facing bandwidth. This problem is likely at the source.

  • bennyt27 Ben Taylor (@bennyt27) reported

@Telstra Home Internet. Ever since you forced me to switch to NBN it’s been horrible. My cable connection was flawless

  • andyatto Andreas (@andyatto) reported

@NBN_Australia Sent me no less then 4 text reminders, all of which I replied to say I’d be home, and they fail to turn up. What a disgrace 😡

  • Ozecrivaine Lady Fiona 😷 (@Ozecrivaine) reported

@_Oliver_Yates For what? Since being forced to sign up to the @NBN_Australia , I am now back to the bad old days of dial-up, complete with drop-outs, slow downloads and even the spinning wheel - and that's in the cbd of a capital city! 🤨

  • RomeoLi02180010 Romeo Lim (@RomeoLi02180010) reported

@Optus my guy... my fam called u guys yesterday morning since our internet sucking poo at the moment and you guys said if the NBN HQ cannot fix my internet speed during that day, you guys would send a technician over TODAY at 8AM-12PM, however, no tech guy has come over. Me sad

  • awhitedingo A White Dingo (@awhitedingo) reported

@BiancaMinnie4 @NickTrebla @MattDoran91 They understood NBN & wanted it limited. They understand media & want to control it. They understand medicine & want the best for themselves. They understand climate science & want to ignore it. The understand abuse and want to hide it. They know what they're doing. All bad.

  • SimonStahn Simon Stahn (@SimonStahn) reported

@empressbat @_Mike_Holm_ Q: has your dog peed in TheCorrectSpot this morning, to enable NBN service? Otherwise, you might be rate limited! Alt: hang up two ***** but different socks. Worship them for min 10mins while chanting "NBN is clean, NBN is good, gimme internet back to my 'hood!" #YMMV 🤪

  • Leofric73 Chippy (@Leofric73) reported

@Cobra1A @g_mann43 @PRGuy17 Never forget that bastard destroyed the NBN to preserve his ****** overpriced Foxtel as well

  • AUSFestivus Andrew Best shaving yaks ... mking endorphins (@AUSFestivus) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Odd. Just got a recorded call from @NBN_Australia saying my landline service is being disconnected. I pressed 1 to speak to them about it. Call was answered by “Mark” in the NBN office. When I asked him exactly which office it was he hung up! How rude.

  • EddieJRClarke Eddie Clarke (@EddieJRClarke) reported

@ShaunRatcliff @NBN_Australia Tell me about it. I had to cancel two classes last year because I dropped out part way through.

  • judithclark01 Judith Clark (@judithclark01) reported

NBN Co is tax-payer funded. I'm a tax-payer, and I'd prefer that instead of sharing $78 million in personal bonuses to people with perfectly decent salaries, they allocated profits (?) to upgrading network access for rural schools and communities.
