  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@wibbly @NewtonMark @NBN_Australia Yep. Bursting costs the network nothing, just using existing capability when it isn’t being utilised.

  • scott_thewspot Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Install status: No #nbn Tech is here, no issues mentioned with my preferred install location.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ajpalm NBN’s woes have mostly been the result of a bad business model from day one. That aspect has never been addressed by anyone either. That business model was never going to deliver the promised network

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Triplejay58 Me2...I'm paying for 100 getting 43.....fttc bloody disgraceful LNP has broken our NBN

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NewtonMark @wibbly @NBN_Australia It’s been broken from the day it was conceived and was never going to deliver the network it originally promised. Everyone is caught up on blaming each other over the connection type while ignoring the massive elephant in the room.

  • p_terg 🔥₽๎ᝤᶒя ᶢ ᶃเ𐤄𐤄ᦳ𐌏ᠡ💧 (@p_terg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Kathblue @Telstra We had a grey box too. Our current internet is 100mbps through the Foxtel infrastructure. They’re using that same infrastructure to supply the nbn(tm) and I have just agreed to go with @telstra bc they could provide nbn(tm) with same service as current cable internet #winning

  • Divaliley Jessica Liley (@Divaliley) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia totally hopeless. Thanks for sending me a technician to connect me today only to have him tell me he’s not qualified to tun cable from exterior of house to the house!! #hopeless #complaint

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BDC8495 There is no issue. The CVC is an NBN restriction on speed even though there’s a gig interface in my garage

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia WATFJ.....can't even provide a basic service now want extra for basic........still waiting for my fix....paying Telstra/NBN for 100 getting @ best 23.........they are "investigating"........🤔😁🤣🤣🤣

  • atrueblueaussie Shout it👇🏿Out 👇🏿 (@atrueblueaussie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@R_Chirgwin @Triplejay58 Get Vodaphone data and connect your computer to your phones hotspot Wifi . NBN was never needed😆

  • scott_thewspot Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@dgaust @niall_bigscreen The increase in PoPs that was forced on the NBN was bad, and the decisions around CVC pricing should have been revised by Labor in the early days.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@vogrady2132 @GeorgeBludger If you can get 100....I pay for 100 but get 43 @ best.......NBN totally stuffed up by LNP Government with help from Murdoch......watch the cost taxpayers will pay to fix & LNP will walk away scott free

  • DarthMadV Darth MadV (@DarthMadV) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@RuseBGZs @hallowedthrone I just set up the nbn box and modem and all that and it went from 100mbps down and 4mbps up to 40mbps down and like 20mbps up and the cable/new Antenna thing hasn’t even been installed yet so... yeah :3..

  • TomRagen Tom Ragen (@TomRagen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telcos @Telstra & @Optus are looking under the lead of the @NBN_Australia to charge people more for the use of streaming videos services! #No! Absolutely not! We are already paying for internet service. If you add this new charges it’s a ***** money grab! #WTF

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia @iTnews_au Start by un-breaking the existing failed commercial model then, rather than doubling down on the mistakes.

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

While gov’t bodies force more & more transactions online while offering no alternative, there will be many who will not be able to afford the NBN (some effing service .. not) @NBNAustralia

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NickRossTech @LJPatton @SaysSmithy @NBN_Australia @TurnbullMalcolm It never was going to work when LNP/IPA/MURDOCH interferred & destroyed Labors plan...& they were warned again & again...so now costs to fix will again be borne by taxpayers & it will be in the many billions. NBN will have to be written down b4 decent access prices are available

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cec1955 @MattRaphael @MeckeringBoy Nope not maybe but definitely. NBN wastes money like it was water, even the techs who work for them laugh about the waste, problem is you have no choice once it passes your property.....they are out of control...thanks LNP

  • heathgargit Heath Gargit (@heathgargit) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

My colleague is leaving the country in ten days. He rang up fl-@Optus yesterday and asked them to cancel his services on the day before he left. Of course, an hour later his nbn was not working.

  • grantcairns Grant Cairns (@grantcairns) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@charlietech @Optus @NBN_Australia We had the same experience and @Optus even sent us a payment reminder after service cut off.

  • KimVivin1 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙖𝙣  (@KimVivin1) reported

NBN drop outs. Send pics of red/no lights on NBN box. Tell them not modem, it's NBN. Telstra sends new modem. They want to troubleshoot modem. Tell again not modem. Been doing this since 2015. Support only via app....but NBN drops out, can't chat!! @Telstra #badservice

  • SEMsolar_WA Semsolar (@SEMsolar_WA) reported

@Southozbadboy @ozyrobbie19 @SpaceX This hardware is for sites that have no phone/internet line. The cost for their plan is cheap compared to NBN trenching a rural road to so.eones house. If you have network cabling... youre asking for something not built for you

  • Lepida7 Dust TATARI (@Lepida7) reported

    @mintieblehh Women ?!/)>{ bad Nbn !!!

  • realvasif Vasif Uder (@realvasif) reported

@SpaceX Startlink sucks here in Australia! For an investment of over $600 in the first month, having an average speed of 130mbps whereas NBN superfast is around150mbps costing $100 a month, the only plausible justification for getting it is rural areas and places NBN's still on the way.

  • kushil Kushil Abeysinghe (@kushil) reported

@Aussie_BB NBN down again in Brisbane ?..

  • ladybossAU LadybossOz 💰💪 (@ladybossAU) reported

@SpaceX Damn I paid full price but it was so worth it! We had absolute rubbish skymesh before limited now with Starlink it’s freaking amazing and better than my Telstra nbn in the city !

  • koenjivintage Koenji Vintage (@koenjivintage) reported

@VodafoneAU my nbn has been down for over an hour now. Nothing on NBN site or yours to indicate any outages. Box has been rebooted and cables checked

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@ridetoworkpol Hi Matthew, sorry to hear about your internet connection issue. Can you please send us a direct message to confirm which internet service is this in regards to, I mean 4G home internet, 5G home internet or NBN home internet? Kartik

  • SC21012022 studiosoundguy (@SC21012022) reported

@Xyrdrai @Daz__________ @SpaceX Still cheaper than lte or other services And people still have to **** talk, our NBN better be scared because others are stealing market share

  • farmerfox_1 Adje (@farmerfox_1) reported

@Gergyl Our only option is satellite internet. We rely on it to make calls as well as we have no phone reception. The NBN satellite doesn’t offer unlimited and 50GB a month is about $80 - it is unreliable and slow. Starlink was a game-changer for us, so I suppose I put more value on it.
