Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Dunhacking Lady Leo (@Dunhacking) reported

“Safari could not open the page because the network connection was lost.” Malcolm Turnbull’s NBN - the gift that keeps on giving, but not in a good way.

  • wrhollingsworth William (@wrhollingsworth) reported

FFS @Optus could your ********* NBN not drop out several times a day, every day? I live in inner city Melbourne, not the middle of nowhere. I say this more to inform people how utterly terrible your NBN is and that they should never use your "service"

  • AusGroucho Voting YES. Parody of a 132 y/o American comedian. (@AusGroucho) reported

Does anyone have any contacts for @NBN_Australia in Geelong? I want them to fix the FTTN service they stuffed up last Thursday, and then cancelled the appointment made for Monday because they can't read fault details. (Resent as @NBNCo is an inactive account. Pfft.)

  • andrewitsover Andrew Jones (@andrewitsover) reported

The NBN was a 50 billion dollar letter drop campaign. Nothing changed. Australian internet is still ridiculously slow. People don't seem to even care. What happened to the 50 billion dollars?

  • BiozGamer The F.B.I (@BiozGamer) reported

Can NBN modems do dialup? Because I know someone who runs a dialup network but the call ends before handshake, can someone tell me why?

  • ILM126 Treble Sketch 🔜 FurDU '23丨@TrebleSketch@ibite.lol (@ILM126) reported

@ScribblyNoodle Oh yeah, Fibre to the Building. So it's like a normal phone port in the wall still? So just FTTN but all connected to the node live in the same building :P (So kinda the same problems still) Unless you do have an NBN Fibre box at your place, then it's more FTTP than FFTN!

  • John_V_Young John Young (@John_V_Young) reported

@NBN_Australia @flyWSA But yet you still cannot solve the issue of fibre to the premise for older apartment buildings.

  • NetrunnerGen Netrunner Card Generator (@NetrunnerGen) reported

Flying Polyp Laboratories NBN: Division 40/12 The first time on your turn you derez a rezzed piece of ice, deal 2 brain damage

  • ramzataz ᵐᶠᵉʳfrontrunning (@ramzataz) reported

In Australia we pay $120 per month for dogshit internet. It cost even more when you suffer trading losses due to a dropout. @NBN_Australia let us use our own high-speed modems that I can't cook an egg on and you guys sell the fibre lines to a private company. Problem solved.

@pruwawn Much of the Labor party has always been gung ho in their subservience to the US. But this reeks of a catastrophic decision made by the country's worst government in living memory, that they planned to punish the NDIS, NBN, ABC and all other areas of public spending in perpetuity.
