    @cuffs1971 @robb_j_m @NBN_Australia Eh? You're saying, that because Australia has economies of scale, that fibre is more expensive?!? That's upside-down world! NBN has *way* more customers to spread the infra costs over. If anything, fibre should be cheaper in Australia than NZ, surely?

    This should NEVER happen. We have written to the federal minister and the NBN objecting to this and to clarify their total expenditure here. This data was all procured directly from the SCA 2026 Conference Sponsorship website page. (7/7)

    @WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

    @Starlink Update: customer care sent me the kit via express post and gave $25 credit. Installation went ahead smoothly as per schedule and very happy so far. No more crap NBN that Telstra put up their prices to $115 per month for 50mbps but my Starlink gives me 100mbps for $75 per month

    @robb_j_m I was that happy with the FTTN NBN I had I went with Starlink when it was available in my area in November 2021. I know I can now get FTTP , but I put up with an ordinary service for for a long time and can’t be bothered changing.
