Yesterday's 24 hour NBN outage (caused by shorted power) was annoying. Credit to the truckloads of technicians I spied in my street at 8pm still effecting repair. Props to ISP for regular updates. NO LOVE to the ****** technology that failed again after just TWO AND HALF HOURS.

found @exetel NBN is down for maintenance in #Caboolture 0:00-06:00 am 27/8/22 but I am using #4G Amaysim so I am fine with many gigabytes of data

NBN in South Brisbane area is *terrible*. My parents are elderly and need phone and internet that is reliable, not down and out for days on end waiting for technicians to come around and scratch their heads. could fry an egg on the modem they put in too.

I should just switch to 4G - my data bank is so huge in gigabytes - ridiculous - never use it unless I only use mobile and not NBN any more

@TurnbullMalcolm It’s worth reflecting that only 5 years ago you were in a position to do something about EVS & the NBN . Instead you failed on both, too busy focusing on important gems like the “BONK BAN” . You had your chance, return to the cheap seats and let the current crop fix your mess.
