@maudenificent I go through Internode (bought by iinet) for internet/NBN For mobile I go through ALDImobile (Telstra towers) 1 year 12gb for $100 Also Felix (Vodofone towers) $34/mnth for unlimited data when I am away (lmt coverage) Felix had online chat, never needed to contact ALDI

@Optus my nbn has been awful with drop outs for about a week. There was one registered “looking into into” thing yesterday (ish) but it’s not usually this unreliable 👎 also the cellular network is going though upgrades so I’m randomly completely cut off

@Kells8681 @Telstra I use Optus, I have never had any problems with the NBN. Not sure about rural areas.

A home UPS is great because in a blackout all your router and network/wifi stuff keeps working. Unfortunately that doesn't help when #nbn is on HFC and the NTU loses all signal 🙄🤦

That's a neat trick. According to the person who just cold called me, I'm getting errors on my NBN connection and they want to know if I've ever shared my password with my neighbour. Considering I don't *have* an NBN connection, I'm pretty sure I haven't..

@moonyeyed I had iinet for a while and ******* hated their customer service. Currently with Mate NBN bundled with my SIM (they run on Telstra infrastructure) and they’ve been good as and relatively affordable in the grand scheme of telcos
