@DamienBoath 2/2 I’m a T*lstra customer with FTTP NBN connection, using T*lstra’s Smart Modem, but it doesn’t even let the user prompt it to get latest firmware. Am I locked/limited to the T*lstra device, or can I get another modem/router?

Going on day 6 with no nbn, but today they said I have internet, but I don’t really have internet. The outage is resolved but there is still an outage. I would add a gif but my 3G data won’t load them. 💀🤨

@OrangeFizzer Check the NBN connection type at your new place. Good chance you might need to switch providers - iiNet is good for HFC connections, but other providers are better for other connections. Or just go with Aussie Broadband because I've not seen a bad word said about them.

@jamiesonmurph @helenhainesindi @thelandnews Yes yes please! Next door and across the road on a different NBN system to what I am supposed to have! (It failed I back on copper broadband) the issue is not with the Telcos but NBN itself who failed to deliver a decent infrastructure. We should all have fibre to the Curb (Kerb)
