  @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

  @TheLucidyn @Batman2242 No, it was a very bad idea, the original OPAL idea was excellent, a public private partnership to lift rural speeds up to that of the cities and was costed at about $4 billion. Rudd screwed that up with massive mission creep and created the NBN.

  @NBN_Australia Here I am almost 2 weeks later and still regular interruptions while NBN lists our address as subject to network degradation. I have contacted my provider and they then check with NBN and I am told work is ongoing. But nothing gets fixed!!!!

  @basespanker @Batman2242 That was a fttn upgrade with Telco support, but libs called it fraudband due to the minor upgrade so it got scrapped and years later the #nbn was formed to rollout fibre to 93% of premises. LNP got in and decided to do fraudband

  @Johnuh9d @AvidCommentator The NBN is expensive crap. The NDIS has turned into a complete rort. The GFC was an American housing crisis that had very little to to do with us. The pandemic was an over reaction. They've blown the lot. Money wasted with zero return on investment. Both parties are responsible for this mess and all I see for the future is higher unemployment and a low currency. It's going to be a double whammy. We are already in a per capita recession. The country needs some serious reform and it needs it right now..

  @NBN_Australia sure enough this problem still isn’t resolved. Outage page has been showing us as facing network degradation all week. Regular dropouts and slow connectivity. Will you ever fix this???
