So eventually we restored 4G backup, in the middle of 'your nbn outage is resolved so you don't need the 4g now, goodbye' what!!? Reseated the sim and powercycled yet again. I'm still pretty sure they did something their end. And now 4g backup works..... at 0.1Mbps. Unusable.

@telstra nbn support widget asked me to powercycle my modem... 30 seconds after I JUST TOLD HIM ID JUST DONE THAT. These people are fkn hopeless.

@DaveBngDave I can only guess that the nbn network was futzed around with and that made everything drop out and the main Google nest device didn’t feel like rejoining so just hid.

Apparently if @Telstra technicians and complaint staff can not resolve you NBN issues having dropouts, they ignore you and offer $50 for 4 months of unusable service. How are you to make Zoom calls for work? #fail #toohard #NBNfail
