@davidbewart It's a joke. Remember when Turnbull couldn't get the NBN running so they made him Prime Minister. Remember when Dan was having trouble getting on top of covid, he copped a heap of abuse, now that NSW is getting 500 cases a day more.....nothing. Sick of this hypocrisy

Anybody else in the Moorabbin or Melbourne South East area having internet issues with their @Telstra nbn connection?

@TurnbullMalcolm "That investment will push more fibre into the network and bring fibre closer to more premises but doesn’t mean NBN Co is abandoning the MTM." Or, you know, we could have kept deploying FTTP in the first place, as they did in NZ, and as experts urged back in 2013.

@adammalone @khingy @NBN_Australia Hi Adam, We certainly understand how frustrating this process is for you as a customer. We can assure you if we could, we would just send a new NCD out - unfortunately, nbn doesn't allow us to do this - we need to log a fault & an nbn technician will replace the device.

Hi @NBN_Australia I'm told by Telstra that my order was cancelled for our move on 1 September because I didn't want to pay for new hardware at the site where there are already NBN services. I'm checking if that's the process as I need Internet daily and the delay is bad for us.

@NBN_Australia Thanks Alicia. To summarize, @NBN_Australia cannot help because we work with a retailer. @Telstra can't help, because they are constrained by the wholesaler/NBN leadtimes. But my order was cancelled unfairly without notice. If I reorder, delivery will be at the back of the queue.

@NBN_Australia I already tried that for the previous 4 outages in 17 working days, but with little luck. @Aussie_BB doesn't have access to historic outages apparently, so couldn't tell me much, apart from "network element...requires repair", hence the walk to the pit for the latest outage🚶

@Scott17492432 Hi Scott, it's a shame that it took those measures. nbn does not have a chat/bot system, as service issues are usually managed by the provider. If, however, a customer is medically vulnerable or experiences a health and safety issue, 1/2

@jriewolod @Telstra The experience get Telstra to connect NBN to my elderly mothers premises was nothing short of appalling. It literally took months of broken promises and technician appointments that failed to turn up. Telstra is a disgrace that prioritises profits over people

@TurnbullMalcolm And yet we are paying a speed bump to Telstra Velocity to get just over half the speed (sometimes) we pay for in the first place. Without it we get 1.8mbps. NBN never coming to Velocity areas because NBN says Velocity already provides the equivalent service. What a shambles.
